Herblore Training

I'm looking to get 95 herblore so I can pot to make overloads, but I only have 32m cash at the moment. What would be the best potion to make that's cost efficient, but still has a good exp/hr?

Also, if I definitely need to make more cash, what would be the best way to go about that? I've slayed, rced, and farmed in the past for cash, but those are no longer as reliable. I'll rule out pking, staking, or any other possible pvp. I have little experience with bosses, but I'm willing to give them a shot.

well i would say make oh 500 or so of each extreme for "free overloads" before you go to making the current lowest gp/xh (wich is prayer potions at 9.87gp/xp i believe)

I made 2k of each extreme when I was training herblore. I'd recommend just making extremes so you'll have the supplies for overloads when you get to 95. Prayer potions are currently 9.78gp/xp, super attack are 12.43gp/xp, and super strength are 13.99 gp/xp at the moment. If you're not interested in making extremes I'd go with one of those 3 (I'd pick either super attack or strength since you'll have to do a lot more prayer pots)

Get a scroll of cleansing before you train herb. That thing can save you mills!

Once you can pot to make overloads (91), I would just make a ton of those; they are pretty good xp and I'm assuming you'll be using them anyway. I have found myself making so many overloads after 99 herb, which seems like a big waste of money, time, and xp.

I think that generally - it's better to wait for 96 to make overloads. (If you're going for 99 in everthing)

The only reason I can see to pot for overloads is if you wanted to boss or pvm things that actually required overloads.

If you start making overloads so soon, you're going to have to waste a lot more gold/exp on herblore in the end.

Just start making a bunch of the cheapest potions - 2k of every extreme sounds like a decent number. 2K overloads is a lot to use and you won't be using them up that soon.

Grimy made a bunch of pretty amazing spreadsheets which details how much gold each exp costs for a bunch of skills.

You can go here and just pick out the one for herblore (it's also a helpful site to save to look up costs for other skills when you want to level those)

That is the herblore spreadsheet, all credit goes to Grimy Bunyip. If he doesn't want me to link directly to them to give advice i'll remove the link.

Linking his sheets is okay I think, just not his forums.

Prayer potions may be cheap, but they are also very slow, about three times as slower than the lower extremes I'm pretty sure.
