At work a few hours ago I saw a guy that worked here get hit and almost ran over by another worker. My supervisor told us to lie to the police in our witness statements about what we saw. Then the dick cop was mad at me for the address on my dl being out of date, threatened me that that was illegal. it probably is, and I should have had it updated, but I thought I did and he embarrassed me in front of everyone.

I didn't lie to them, I wrote the witness report truthfully. A guy backing up a truck hit a guy facing away from him carrying some stuff, he's in hospital but should be okay. It was shocking that they wanted me to say I didn't really see anything but when I looked over there the truck was off, locked. So the guy ran backwards into a truck enough to pass out and have huge cuts on his back? yeah ok...

 

I like that quote but its pretty misguided. Of course people, men, etc., want to focus on sexism against men and women treated -too- well, instead of all the shitty ways every gender is discriminated/persecuted against. Here Cow, I can't help you which much IRL stuff but I can definitely help you get a Runescape thing done :P

 

 

Teething problems and general clunkiness, especially with the action bar atm, but most should be ironed out along the way.

If you have time to log in though, you should definitely listen to the new audio tracks, such as Scape Slow, Second Harmony, Medieval II etc.

Well the interface looks different, but it's not like they haven't changed the interface before.

 

Is it at all...better?

Abilities are a bit clunky atm since they changed how the targetting works, so moving back and forth between monsters is clunky.

 

They changed monster HP bars to info bars which include HP down to the exact number, level, weakness and name. Unfortunately they are also big enough to block protection prayer icons, which makes TDs/Akrisae a [bleep] to do.

 

Some of the old interfaces like notes/friends list/friends chat are buried deep in the menus, but you can now assign hotkeys to each of these so it's not too bad.

 

Audio is magnificent, problem I've been having though is that the music is like 5x softer than the rest of the audio. I turned up my volume to listen to the new tracks, and then when I destroyed something useless in my inventory the exploding sound made me jump out of my chair.

 

It's otherwise pretty okay because it can be made to mimic the old resizeable version pretty well.

 

Oh yeah and there's some world event now where you get to shape the future of Gielinor, which involves Zamorak and Saradomin shooting each other with lasers for 10 weeks straight.

I wouldn't use the word buried. Maybe "placed conveniently". I mean, to get to all the old menus, you just have to hover over an icon on the ribbon and then select them. All of the ones you use regularly can be dragged onto your screen too.

For some reason my RS3 is all choppy and the graphics are shit, not smooth at all - even on highest Res and etc. maybe it's because I use a Mac?

 

Also [bleep]ing pissed as all that in 2880x1880 fullscreen the words/typing is same size as regular screen resolution which means it's small as [bleep]. Likerly.
