This is a good topic for newb's like me. I have been playing P2P for almost 2 months and didn't realize I could get black marks for mentioning my favorite fansite (which I've done several times). I think it's crazy tho that you can get banned for such a minor thing when I have seen really flagrant offenders go unpunished.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

For example, when I first started playing, I was happily massacaring guards south of Fally when this supernoob shows up and sez "U are so black, U a [racist term]h" (I play a black charachter). Then he stands there and laughing and shouting [racist term]H,[racist term]H,[racist term]H, for like 5 minutes. I reported him but all I could report was offensive language. This doesn't seem strong enough. (this post will probably be censored but then it probably should be)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Just last week I reported an obvious autominer and just out of curiosity I put him on my friends list. He is still there, mining for hours every day. This really bugs me cuz I have worked for months to get to level 69 mining. Autominers probably get there in 2-3 days.

i really dont think so i kinda been playing for 4 yrs and half and i know jagax quiet well but i guess lately there been alot of autors and hackers scammers and i think jagax had enough of it ( sounds to me jagax is on her rag :? ) but anways it seems to me there panient (spelling) is running short and all they feel like doing is to perm bann players ( i kinda understand that) but still no reason for any lil thing they get but hurt for it

that is true advertising is more like saying everyone go to tip it and things like that but i and most ppl just said go to tip it or just said tip it :(

But jagex customer su[pport concists of an auto reply machine. Seriously they need more actual mods and people who can do things about this.

i think i know when i break the rules and when i dont. ok lemme give u this example ok ur walking down the street and you spit no big deal rite we done it over millions and millions time but lets say there's cop who is gonna get laid off or his wife died( sumthing like that) he see's you and fines you $200 (that happen to my friend i was there) so i done it over ton it over thousands of times in front of a cop and its like nutthing happens :roll: so yeah its kinda like that

I agree. It seems as if the support team has no clue on what advertising means. By the above example, asking if "anyone watched soccer the other day" would be advertising soccer? <_<

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

At any rate, if people ask, I tell that mentioning Tip.It doesn't break any rules, but they shouldn't do it anyway because they might get banned regardless. So for the time being (which might well be the next ten years), just refer people to fansites in general if needed.

Wow nice punctuation and stuff. I think jagex has an automatic "reporting mechanism" that reports you straight away for saying web addresses.
