    1) Is there a Shaman in RuneScape?

    2) Are there any drums in RuneScape?

Well, if that's not a rhetorical question, yes there are, there are Ogre Shamens and you can also make bongo drums.

They were not rhetorical questions.

Ogre Shamens

I don't mean monsters, I mean NPC's like Mrs. Schism, the Tutors, WOM, ect. who you can talk to, but not fight.

And thank you for telling me about the bongos.

Okay, there is a book in Zogre Flesh Eaters called the "Book of Necromancy", it's not in my bookshelf, and I can't check Zybez cause their site's down, can we send someone to go do the quest and write down everything in the book? If we've already done this, I'm sorry, but I REALLY don't want to scan through 70+ pages to see.

I wish someone had told me there was a BOOK of necromancy. I have a thing with necromancy (blame diablo 2). We could wait for the zybez site to come back.

We haven't ever heard of this book before, the first I've heard of it.

Look at the zogre flesh eaters quest guide:

EDIT: It's not in the Zybez archive, let's send someone who hasn't done the quest to go find it and write it down.

what you lot talking about? its up, I put the link in the site, but here it is!

http://www.zybez.net/tomes.php

Also, I think meme's comment is unfounded, we are still discussing stuff here.

I think we shoulds look at the following books for necromancy : Iban's resurrection, Diary of Tarn Razalor, Journal of Sin'keth magis (not for necromancy, just the history in it.) And the Shaman's tome.

Anything else?

I really don't see the Necromancy book there. I also own a copy of the story of the ressurection of iban, the witch brought him back to life by smearing some of his flesh onto a voodoo doll of sorts meant to represent iban, along with human blood found in a spider, the shadow guarded by three demons, and the corpse of a dove.

By the way just another reason to check the museum when the update finally arrives. The museam has been around since the beginning of the fifth age because Arav's shield was stolen around 7 years after the start of the fifth age.

By the way, what do you mean by a printable map? The tip.it world map is printable.

Edit: Random thing: Have you ever broken some one else's computer on accident before? It's not really a good thing. (I was over clocking it and I went to far...)

well as I stated b4 i never read the whole 80+ pages but KC said this on page 8

They are perpendicular. One is the negated inverse of the other. If there's a way to print the map of RS off, I'd draw all over it and find that stuff. That may be a little bit too deep, though. Assuming Jagex isn't good at geometry.

So i assumed that he didnt know that

It is printable, yes, but my printer can't handle it. Besides, someone already took the liberty of drawing all over a map for me.

Varrock got its update!!!

This week's bumper update brings a completely new look to the bustling city of Varrock and the surrounding lands, so take a moment out of your training to admire the freshly restored grandeur of the palace of King Roald and his - ahem - charming Queen Ellamaria. Outside the palace, the artisans and merchants of the city have had their shops refitted, from the glowing warmth of Horvik's smithy to the unkempt mess of the sword shop (apparently some people would rather play with weapons than tidy their rooms). Even the Dancing Donkey Inn, that disreputable domain of dodgy delinquents, got its due decorations.

In the southern districts of the city, where thieves and muggers from the Black Arm and Phoenix gangs roam the streets, the renovation of Varrock has shown up the grit and grime that years of neglect have brought to this ancient city. Tatty clotheslines span the alleyways, derelict and ruined buildings approach collapse and flea-ridden dogs are poised with tails a-wag, ready to harass you (and your cat).

The update doesn't stop at the walls of Varrock. Further afield, there's a new look for the Jolly Boar Inn (your last chance for a pint before the Wilderness, but watch out for the astonishingly unpleasant cook), the Lumber Yard, the Cooking Guild and the Mining spots south of the city.

The sawing, hammering and general hubbub of construction has been affecting the Varrock Museum over the past few months. Strange crates have been turning up and lots of people going in and out muttering about display 20 or how that skeleton was so hard to rig together.

Finally, as the dust settles and the new museum is unveiled you will be allowed to explore the mysteries of RuneScape's history. Find out things that have never been revealed before, earn more rewards for old quests, clean Dig Site finds and contribute to the displays in the museum or answer quizzes to learn about the beasts of RuneScape. Whatever you do in the museum you'll find lots of information is available from the information booth just inside the door.

The timeline section of the Museum should be of special interest, as for the first time it will present RuneScape's history in one location (not to mention all the pretty exhibits to keep you entertained). This will be updated regularly to keep the Museum the definitive location for knowledge about RuneScape's history.

So what are you waiting for? Explore and learn while having fun and still getting those levels! Visit the Varrock Museum today!

Timeline should be interesting...

EDIT001: Any other F2P people geting to hate JaGeX? That's right! The timeline floors are P2P only... The Natural History Exhibit looks cool, too. I condemn JaGeX for giving their members so much and their free players so little!

EDIT002: Everything except a few of the jewelry and the soil layers have something to do with Saradomin... According to my museum map, the topmost floor is the 5th Age (year 70 through 169 with a Gnome glider [i think] from year 20) Exhibit, and the 2nd Floor is the 1st through 5th Ages(year 62). They also crammed 1st and 2nd Age into one Display Case. The 4th and 5th ages are the ones with the most information.

Yes, it seems the free world has been shafted. At least before the update we had access to both floors of the museum, now we only get one, almost empty floor.

Kc, you're such an emo! I'd check it if there wasn't such big hype about it, so Xewleer and the people are going to beat me to it I guess. I'm checking it in the weekend, not before.

Also since I bothered myself to post this. I guess I can give you some pics when I get a dust devil task (that is, IF Duradel decides to give me one).

Also I hate spam, don't do it again. Swirly waves (like the claw marks in the old bear cage of varrock) IS pestilence, god dammit! Got it? P-E-S, T-I-L, E-N-C-E.

Got it memorized?

Hooooraaayyy!!!

Maybe I can go to this week's meeting. 2PM EST, right?

Also, I checked out the museum today. The top floors are just more exhibits. I looked at all of them, and I'll be taking pictures tomorrow. The bottom floor has some exhibits that move if you press a button. You have to take a little quiz thing about each exhibit to get "Museum Kudos", which I guess you use for some update that has not yet come. There was one question that startled me a bit.

"Who discovered how to kill lizards?"

Sir Tiffy Cashien

The Slayer Masters

TheWise Old Man

The correct answer was The Slayer Masters, though. This is not exact. I, being my usual careless self, forgot to take a picture of it #-o .

This most likely means nothing, but I thought it was worth a post. I might be able to do some more detailed investigation tomorrow, that is if King Wenlok doesn't pester me the whole time <.< :P .
