Or an ultimate moneymaking guide. OR the best one: maybe it tells you how to block off all noob related messages and trades. January 15, 200620 yr The bird and the eye are rather well known characters of ancient egyptian hyroglifics.. the only problem is I doubt anyone here has a degree in egyptology that would be able to translate it for us. :|

January 15, 200620 yr Well, before we go off-topic... I've took interest to this and I am trying to figure out what it means. I am using this to help me Not all of the hieroglyphs are on there, just the basic ones. I resized the image Try to make what you can out of this, I will post soon as I have only just got a chance to do this. I also believe Jagex have changed some of the symbols (perhaps flipped them) so we don't figure it out. Remember it reads down, not across (me thinks :lol: ).

January 15, 200620 yr Here's what I got, if you interpret each glyph as a letter: 1st column: N G N (something that looks like H and S) Unknown letter N K 2nd column: Unknown letter Backwards Q Q A R 3rd column: 2 Unknown letters N M F Unknown letter Interpret what you want, but Jagex modified several letters. I've read many hieroglyphic writings in my days. the russians are the best! Hands down!

Oh yeah that would be nice.... :wink: Or maybe it's a way to put a stop to your spamming. It's interesting and I've often wondered that myself in Al-Kharid when smithing if it actually meant something. Looks like a modification of some real glyphics to me. I doubt there is some Jagex staff who know an Ancient language, however. :P This is how much you all raised for charity. Thank you.
January 15, 200620 yr Yeah I am led to believe that it is no more than decoration, But it was still an interesting find. I'm sure that Jagex has placed more easter eggs through out the game and I will be keeping my eye out for them. So if anybody find's more post them on the forum.
