I would do it if they let me! I swear I would, lol. The MAX possible brothers that I think possible would be 3-4 of each. This would be insanely hard and dangerous seeing as how you would have to get triple or quadruple of each brother, in the tunnels, while hoping that you don't have to deal with ahrim/kharil/dharok on one side of the door, lol.

It's nice to finally see the reults of this, but any theorys that i thought existed about this were washed away when i got 5 items in 8-10 trips only killing 5-10 a time.

After many, many, MANY trips I have decided that the best KC is 10-20. The increased chance of barrows items can be debated until we are all blue in the face but the fact is that the non-barrows returns are MUCH better with 10 or so kills. My best advice would be to simply kill anything that gets in your way but not to stop and raise it after 10 KC. That way you are still getting in fast runs but are making a nice profit off the bloods and racks that are (for me at least) impossible with 6KC. From my tests it is AT LEAST 8 times rarer, if even possible in the first place, to get either bloods or racks from the chest than it is to get barrows items themselves' at 6KC, lol.

It is possible and I have heard of it happening. I would rather kill them than get stuck fighting against 2 or 3 styles. Next time I go I will try to find the tunnel then get 10 KC without brothers and sprint to the chest, lol. Who knows. :lol:

I beg you not to waste your time on 250 kill counts. You will be very dissapointed, because the rats don't drop, and you'll NEVER get 10k bloods.

Rahk out of all my barrow running I've gotten 10K bloods,just had to sell em before I got the chance to save em..To bad 1K bloods isn't 100 Prayer potions anymore :(

I got Guthan AFTER I got the stupid runes from the chest. If you look closely you will notice that I don't have a KC. Has THIS happened to anybody else?

 

 

 

If you're asking a question like this, either you are a barrows noob, or you've always been so good at barrows that you've not killed all six brothers before opening the chest. It happens when you get your puzzle wrong as it stops the brother from spawning at the chest, so you have to spawn him at a door.

6=1 in 18 chance (roughly of course)

 

 

 

7-11=1 in 15 chance (roughly)

 

 

 

12-20=1 in 12 chance (roughly)

 

 

 

21-30=1 in 10 chance (roughly of course :roll: )

 

 

 

31+=1 in 18 chance

 

 

 

also you only get bolt racks with 12 or more KC.

 

 

 

Leesters was right when he said what he said. Each brother adds to the chest, and up to 30 KC, each KC only increases the chances of the brothers adding something better to the chest. And some of this has been confirmed by J-Mods on the forums, I can't remember exactly what though #-o But as you say, Jagex likes to lead us in many directions to keep us interested...i.e. mods have confirmed that salve works at barrows, and that it doesn't. There's no way both can be true, so Jagex has lost credibility with me. Perhaps this is your next test :P

 

 

 

And incase you're wondering if I'm credible or not, I've done roughly 700 chests, mostly with 30 KC, I'm now doing 20 to speed it up though :P
