September 24, 201114 yr They'd kick bot impersonators out, I'm pretty damn sure, regardless of your ability to enter the United Kingdom (or lack thereof). We'd do it outside. We'd cut at the trees around the venue with fake axes and then run as a group to another tree. And I had an situation with the police security at the airport. Essentially, he grabbed me in a sexual manner and I punched him in the face. Got held, wanted to charge me with assault and stuff. So eventually we compromised and I left and couldn't come back for 2 years. All because some idiot decided he wanted to grab my boob. <_< I'm like a hot mess, but without the alcohol.

Maybe throw out a couple of the popular ones to make an example of them and then they'd just look the other way and hope no one else does it.
September 24, 201114 yr Maybe the people going to Runefest should do the bot thing outside of it? Why not just have everyone dress in the same clothes: i.e. "dragon skirt", "granite body", "dragon boots", "d-med helm", "whip" and "obsidian shield", and then have them all scurry around the Runefest site as one large group -- budding into lines ahead of other people, waiting 30 seconds, then rushing to another spot and budding into THAT line ahead of people, and then waiting another 30 seconds and scurrying to another spot, etc. If they find a tree they can all pretend to cut it down. Of course, if they could organize 100 people to do it altogether at the same time, it'd be even more poignant, but even a group of 5 or 6 people together would be large enough to be noticed if they behaved badly enough. Frankly, I think that would be precisely the kind of public embarrassment that Jagex deserves to have displayed at their much-heralded public event. :shame:I lol'd Retired 2146 overall - 136 combat - 6 skillcapes Plus I think the whole teenage girl thing will end soon (hopefully), because my girlfriend is absolutely in love with him(she is 18), and im beginning to feel threatened by his [Justin Bieber] dashing looks.

I still want to advertise for gold in front of the place. I'm like a hot mess, but without the alcohol.
September 25, 201114 yr Author While we're (mostly) trolling here, this is a great opportunity for real gold sellers everywhere! Bring your neon signs and hand out gold flyers to all the RuneFest attendees. And neon signs! Definitely flashing neon signs! I would prefer even to fail with honor than to win by cheating - Sophocles

And neon signs! Definitely flashing neon signs! Speak for yourself. If I was allowed in, I'd be there. I have time. I have money. I'm smart. And I have the nerve to do this in front of their place. I'd love to troll them IRL. I'm like a hot mess, but without the alcohol.
September 25, 201114 yr As funny as the whole dressing up as bots thing is, this topic is about discussing Jagex's new headquarters. If everyone could kind of shift back on topic it would be much appreciated. Pyramid Plunder Guide Tip.it Forum Rules Adventurer's LogThanks to Cowboy14 for the awesome sig!

Maybe a bit of a stretch, but I'll say it's OT. I'm like a hot mess, but without the alcohol.
