Which tasks to ovl?

ive been making alot of ovls and know im wondering which tasks are worth ovling for(using effigyscapes tasklist btw). i dont want to overkill by using ovls on easy tasks like suqahs, just the ones that i will get the most benefit from ovling. Thanks

Use extremes on most tasks that you cannon and are very fast. One of the exceptions being dark beasts. Longer tasks that will benefit more from ovls like metallic dragons should be ovled.

Depending on how many overloads you have.

4k+ doses: Everything.

1k+ doses: Everything but abberant spectres, dagannoth, maybe velds (but space is an issue if you have herbicide/bonecruncher etc.).

200+ doses: Metal dragons, wyverns, ice strykewyrms. Save for bossing to make money.

 

You should probably also overload anything you mage with Storm of Armadyl. The spell is so expensive that it's probably cheaper to save runes by making each spell hit that little bit higher with overloads.

 

1m slayer xp all overloaded should take about 240-300 doses, cannon + titan everywhere.

When you slay (with cannon), would expect to profit enough to use ovl on all your tasks?

25 gp/xp for over 1m herblore xp/hr... If you have overloads anyway, you might as well use them.

You kind of confused me there. You say they all have reasons to not ovl but you use" but not" in your sentence. Kind of contradictory there. Oblige me with the reasons and I will apologize.

Yes, specifically spectres and dagannoths the cannon does a significant portion of damage over the task which means that you're meleeing less so less benefit from the ovl.

You just listed a nonsensical, randomly-chosen group of slayer tasks and stuck Jad on the end.

The person before you explained it better, so no need for your imput to answering my question. How would you even know if I said it randomly? Those were the tasks that seemed right to ovl.

Honestly; I dont really see the need of overload slayer tasks. I have like about 1k sitting in the bank but I only really take them out on actually bosses. For mostly as tasks, I just ext att/str (sometimes ext def if def is needed).

But if you go the money to waste, sure go ahead.
