Am I high enough?

75 attack

77 strength

78 defence

I've read crush is good, so I'll use a Sara sword or Zammy spear. I have no experience with these whatsoever, and I plan on using chaos tunnels.

Are these heavily botted?

Can I kill them decently?

Also I read the drop fish, so would bringing a tinderbox plus logs make sense?

I want to camp them for charms.

Better off bringing a bunyip with swallow hole scrolls which allows you to eat the raw fish instead of wasting time cooking etc. As above, I wouldn't suggest doing them in CT at the moment with your stats. Better off fighting them in single-combat so you learn your way around them and until you have increased stats.

Might I also suggest that you use slayer as a means of collecting charms. Whilst you won't always have such a strong crimson drop rate, you'll be belting out slayer xp while getting the charms. A good win-win (in my mind at least).

No, you don't have the stats for CT Fiends. Use AC w/ Bunyip.

Really? Cause as I recall it was you who was the one cussing me at base. Also, re-read what you just said: one 15 second delay (which is an exaggeration to begin with) ruins floor times? You are beyond ridiculous.

Nope. You must smoke moar(Sorry. I just saw topic title without subtitle and lol'ed).

With your levels you'll be able to do Ancient cavern fiends, however not chaos tunnel fiends. Take a saradomin sword on crush(If you already have it, otherwise a Zamorakian spear as it's cheaper and roughly the same in terms of DPS) and black hide top + bottom. Besides those 3 items just your normal gear.

Haha, I saw the same and just had to come into this thread.

On topic: Don't even think about attempting CT waterfiends. At max combat, when I went there my first time it was hell. I didn't have my protect prayer on when I clicked the portal and I got comboed HARD. Even with protect prayers on though, it can be difficult learning how to survive easily, even with max combats. For now it would be best to stick to the Ancient Cavern waterfiends. Definitely use a bunyip with swallow whole scrolls, they drop a lot of raw lobsters and sharks. Try to avoid going near the dragons down there too (if you have opened up that fairy ring there, use it to get to waterfiends). If you haven't unlocked that fairy ring, I suggest bringing an anti dragonbreath shield and equipping it until you're out of the dragon's attack range. I can't tell you how many times I got hit hard by the dragons because I didn't bring a shield and the fairy ring didn't exist at the time.

AC is probably only worth doing if you have access to the fairy ring.

I'd say there are better means of getting charms than camping wfs if you need to bank often and take a long time to get back to the spot.

Go with daily borks with RoW and just slay to get up some combat levels and some charms for the time being. Once you've gotten some more levels, a lot more methods will become feasible.

Be aware that waterfiends are more of a high-level monster than a low-level monster. Ancient cavern fiends rely tremendously on your primary melee damage output because they are in single-combat and can't be cannoned. They have high defence and with two attack styles they are pretty accurate. Chaos tunnels waterfiends are even more of a deadly affair and you shouldn't consider them until you have turmoil, iron titan and 110+ melees (including potions).

There are few to no bots at waterfiends.

You should use a Saradomin sword, elite void melee, fury, max strength bonus you can manage with those (fire cape etc.) and pray protect from ranged and piety at all times. Use super attack and strength potions, keep your levels nice and high. Use as much renewable healing as you can, e.g. bunyip, Enhanced Excalibur etc. If your staying power is not determined by how many boosting/prayer potions you can carry, I wouldn't recommend doing waterfiends.

If you have money you can look into bursting or barraging for your bunyip.
