Superpiccolo
I have seen people with cats all over the place. Name where you have seen them and why they took them (if you know). Or if you do it (explain why). I have seen people Barrowing with them. I dont know why. I have seen people training with them. Again I dont know why. Giordano
You can get cats from finishing a quest and people own them all over Runescape "The cry of the poor is not always just, but if you never hear it you'll never know what justice is." gamblingfool
well u can get 100 deaths fro overgron cat, don't like them tho :) i rather get a dog :) Isn't it just a normal cat? And to others, he prolly knows where and why people have them, just why have them training, or mining, or barrowing for that matter. I've been woodcutting yews and mining coal for a long time now, and I see a lot of people with cats, cutting or mining with me. If you don't have the food cluttering your inv to feed them, they run away. I think it's all a big waste.

Gugge
If you don't have the food cluttering your inv to feed them, they run away. You only have to feed the kittens, adults/overgrown never run away, so bringing them with you is no waste of inventory space. Please think before you ask a question. If you ask the right question, its much more likely you get the answer you are looking for :)

Well, the kitten has to be on the ground to grow. It's more efficient to mine than it is to sit around and wait.

Superpiccolo
ROFLMAO. Oh sorry, I should have clarified myself. I know you get cats from the quest and all that (I have a cat and a kitten), I was just trying to get the opinoins of people who take their cat places. Why they take them, and where. ShadowFire
Personally, I'm getting sick of seeing the darn things. Nealry everyone seems to be taking the darn things into Castle Wars and I'm getting sick of trying to attack someone just to see the text "This is not your cat" because there is a cat on top off a pile of people. I mean, I even saw someone with a freaking kitten in there the other day, it was just stuck behind a wall until it just dissapeared. I wish they would just make it so you need to beat a lvl 150 monster to beat Gertrudes Cat, that way we wouldn't see all these lvl 40s walking round with their kittens, swearing at you when you say it'll run away if you leave it trapped. Alternatively, the game could be altered in a way that you can no longer interact with someone else's kitten, except for maybe an examine when right-clicked. Barihawk
My Wiley cat, Apples, is almost always in my inventory. I especially like to take him with me for slayer, since he can attack kalphite larvae, butterflies, rats of any type, and tiny spiders. I also occasionally challenge someone in the pits, on the safest modes of course. If you have a wiley cat, remember to let them hunt every once in a while, or else they will get fat. My heart is broken by the terrible loss I have sustained in my old friends and companions and my poor soldiers.
