Quyneax
I can't honestly think of any new skill that would actually make sense or isn't implemented already into another skill.Dungeoneering already has that problem, can't imagine how bad it'd be for another skill :P. But I see space for an intellectual skill dealing with books, knowledge, trading perhaps as well and that sort of thing. It's just hard to imagine how to train that. Amonitas
It also has risks if they make it wrong, they might make another skill like summon totally obsolete. Quest cape since 11th July 99 Farming 4th February 99 Cooking 31st August
SwreeTak
Honestly, I don't mind. There are so many people trying to max now that another skill would just piss off a lot of people.Or maybe make people finally realise the sweet thing about rs is (was?) that maxing was just a goal, not the main fun, start of fun (unlike in WOW where you first need to max before you can do the main events). The fun (for me, and I know quite a few people around me) comes from unlocking new stuff, being able to do more. A new skill thus gives a lot of new fun.I sadly don't think so, and seriously I don't think you think so either. Most experienced players in the game today are not playing for the fun of unlocking new stuff and the adventure of the game. They are just going for that max cape. A new skill will certainly enjoy these players, but after a while all they will be caring about is maxing that skill as well. Saradomin_Mage
You mean maxing out a skill isn't a grand quest or adventure in itself? In real life MMO you don't get 99 smithing by making endless bronze daggers.
SwreeTak
You mean maxing out a skill isn't a grand quest or adventure in itself? :rolleyes:I would say that it is. But most players doesn't see it as that. They just care about the 99/99 or 120/120, not about the road and adventure to those numbers.
