Anywho, Mask recieves 9.0 xp for completing the quest/not taking any of the freely avaliable xp at the 'farm'.

Zareph also recieves 1.0 xp for taking part in the quest/not taking any of the freely avaliable xp at the 'farm'.

To be fair, I didn't really ask to come along on the quest. I showed up to the session late, and asked what was going on, and was told that I was in a tavern with a bunch of demons. So I just figured I'd listen to people talk about stuff until PLOT happened, instead of telling Archi that I was kind of supposed to just be chillin' at Reigan's mining iron. Oh well, at least now I have a useless XP buffer. Might train a bit of transmog or alchemy just for kicks. By the way, what's the difference between the two, if there is one?

Since using crystals to store mana doesn't work, is there any way to extend your mana pool and/or mana regenerative capabilities?

 

Also I think I leveled in earth magic (unless that +.6 was for soul), if so I spend the specialization on a second specialization in earth waves.

Extend mana pool? Probably a specialization for either Sorcery or the relevant magic.

 

Crystals CAN be used to store mana, just not yours; They have to be Life Gems (NOT essences).

There may be some special gems that can do it, but crystals as in empty crystals can't, neither can you enchant crystals using soul magic.

I have not tried to see if crystals enchanted with for example earth magic can be used as a power source for when you cast earth magic, but that renders it nearly useless as you either have to predict what magic you need, or just make heaps of them, the latter being a solution only feasible for me due to the amount of crystals needed.

Let me clarify; ANYTHING can be a life gem. It doesn't even have to be a gem, though that is the most efficient option.

 

You do not ENCHANT things to make Life Gems, you roll to steal an unconscious or dying person's soul and imbue it into the item. With a roll of twenty, unless you take specializations in it.

 

Mana is, essentially, a closed system; you only have your own reserves or those somehow acquired from a foreign soul. Putting that reserve outside of your body doesn't mean it regenerates within, unless it is expended.

Alchemy:

The capability of turning base metals into the noble metals gold or silver, as well as an elixir of life conferring youth and immortality.

(At lower levels it is more or less useless)

Transmogrification is more or less shapeshifting, again, at lower levels it is fairly useless...you can wiggle your ears, remove/add spots to people,

Not really. Manapools can be allocated and such, but increasing the amount you actually have only happens with time. As to regeneration...Could probably specialise in it...

I would assume you could, dependant on what they were ect.

Righto. I will say that they are not easily locatable, what with being specifically hidden. I mean searching for them is more a matter of digging random holes all over the place...So unless you have another way of locating them its gonna be pretty unlikely you will be able to find them.

Well, given that a monastery appears to have a daemonic tavern undearneath it, I wouldn't be surprised at all if some demigod spheres were hanging around.
