From my brief session with Archi over Steam, resolving what happened while I was eating dinner:

Aminaeos: I have the Catholic Church after me.

Aminaeos: I may have incinerated a town.

Aminaeos: My elementals are dead.

Aminaeos: I'm trapped miles away from my home, such as it is.

Aminaeos: I will probably die, and then some more whenever the Catholics spot me.

Aminaeos: Plus I've failed probably around twenty five 50/50 rolls by now.

Aminaeos: I fail to see how it could be worse.

Cause of the craziness of the last session (What with a fire breaking out and then being left to go on its merry way, and the murder of the priest in Lightgate and the travelling back there) I am giving everyone a free pass to travel within the explored area for the beginning of the next session.

Please state, clearly, where you are starting from at the beginning of the session/before then on the thread. (If you aren't here for the session you can still chose where you want to start next session.)

 

 

 

I am having the minor idea of increasing the number of wounds of all people by a factor of 10. So 1 becomes 10, 2 becomes 20, ect.

This would make killing bandits and other people MUCH harder, but it would also mean you don't die at the drop of a hat.

Not gonna implement it unless people really want me to though.

Sorry people, for no explicable reason the internet has dropped out at home (At one of the campus computer rooms, and as much as I want to run a session, I am not doing it from here =P).

Now this is about half an hour out of date and I am heading home as soon as I have posted this, so it may be that by half past I am running the session....But the internet has been down for the past hour and a half (before I left) so I am not holding my breath on that.

 

But yes, the Curse of Dungeoneering is beginning to stalk me :unsure: Let me know if you want a make up session and I shall attempt to fulfill that. Elsewise I am really really really sorry *unless my internet has restored =P* and I shall see you on Saturday.

Just to update people on the state of my memory:

Mather has been transported back to near Lightgate (I am not playing 'I am a tree in a forest, I wiggle my leaves to communicate with other trees and discover their secret lore' games...Trees are just trees.)

Jen has been transported back to near Lightgate (And probably become an NPC).

But I need a forest for other purposes than just for looks. I actually plan on doing things with the trees, and I need to be far away from people so that I can remain uninterrupted for a while.

Mather, unless you plan to canablise the trees, or make silly jokes about getting wood (Settlers of Catan is a stupid game for that) I really can't see anything productive you can do with trees.

Now, I am perfectly happy for you to discuss with me exactly what you want to do with trees, but unless there is some sort of plan I am gonna go with 'You can't teleport to a random island far from everyone else so that you can frolic with the trees.'

I ditch the armour due to its appearence. I enter Caster and first find an alchemists, I talk to the alchemists and ask him for his strongest painkiller medication. I press on and see if it is REALLY the strongest, if not I purchase the strongest with my silver coins.

 

I then go to the blacksmiths and commision some special armour of my design made of steel.
