I can try rework modern warfare and have it as a weekend game. I think it had potential people just can't see.

It's a REALLY big shaft.

I didn't catch fire, I used the can of hairspray as a flamethrower and pointed it at my arm.

how are you going to ignore my posts when I'm offering to let you live as my vassal in two weeks time?

I'm just saying that if anyone wants to make a descision I also have an alternative.

Anyway, I basically don't like either.

I don't like Nex's because (although he's given basically no information) because all that he's said is that its just going to be Dungeoneering in a dark world with a couple of more interesting creates. Sorry but this is just Dungeoneering! Its not really anything new. The only difference I really see is turning off a light which probably won't mean that much. Interesting creatures can be transferred to overlording and to an extent my [zombie] game.

I have to say I prefer your over Nex's, it seems fun, original, fast paced, and fun. You can create monsters and such and get more and more power but as I see it is an unoriginal dungeoneering game. Your bad spelling on the original thread and the repeated use of friggin detered me. If you changed it a little bit I would be sure.

Icu, I would never ever play modern warfare because I like either being an individual or a powerful entity. I feel like a game designer being told to desgin a game that i am not to fond about, if I was the concept designer I would be happy but just managing troops isn't fun for me. It also misses out tech.

Sorry if that makes me seem extremly negative but on a positive note, Overlording sounds fun.

I could just add tech into the game... But the game was meant to be so wide that tech wasn't really needed. Archi was probably the only one that brought up a valid reason why the game wouldn't work out, everyone else who said they didn't like it mostly said that they liked micromanaging, which was the games sole purpose. I guess when people ask for a more in depth and different game what they really mean is same [cabbage] different game. Even though my game was a knock off of hegemony, it was different to every hegemony game, the dungeoneering side was different too.

Well I've had enough talking about that game, it answered a lot of prayers people had for games on the forum but apparently what they ask for isn't actually what they want.

It's a REALLY big shaft.

I want: hegemony + other crap.

Not: hegemony + other crap - 3/4 hegemony.

A dilated hegemoyn isn't so fun. And people can't say what the want because it mean different things for different people.

Edel, if I recall you weren't there for Overlording.

And do you have to insult everyone else's games and creativity? "Oh it's just a copy of Dungeoneering." Give me a frickin' list of the games you've made and I'll read them aloud.

I'm very annoyed right now for various reasons, and I don't need you discouraging me from trying something that might make other people happy. Y'know, other people? Those insignificant ants you so enjoy turning your magnifying glass towards?

No but I've read the first post and some of the thread now. You can't just expect me to [cabbage] on about something I haven't read.

I've made picture dungeoneering and castle dynastys.

Your comparison is wrong, I am the speaking ant and the rest of the ants are asleep but will talk later, thats the way the world works.

If anything I would like to see a splinter cell inspired game.

I think we need to give up playing dungeoneering or hegemony with a slight variation, I don't think we can gain fun out of it anymore. We need a new gamestyle.

I want: hegemony + other crap.

What the hell.

My game can be played like a spilnter cell like fashion, and you just proved yourself wrong.

It's a REALLY big shaft.

Because a critic cannot cook does that mean he cannot say that the food is bad. Because a judge cannot sing can they not tell a person they sound like a horse, because a person has not been good for there entire life does that mean that they don't know the difference between right and wrong? The answer to all is no, I know what I like and I will stick by that.

Dynasties could've been fun, I couldn't mod it though. It was complex. It was like a hegemony.

I've played a D'neering game and a hegemony game, I am now the expert! :P

Dynasties / Castle Hegemony / Whatever was incredibly poorly done. Also you've hardly played a hegemony game, which one did you play?

The one where everyone attacked Hex.

Most of the originals. Napoleonic
