zoth01
Is torstol farming still the best profit to go if you aren't using remote farming every cycle? Grimy spreadsheets show it as profitable, but my average is around 8,5 for each herb patch, which makes it break even. Also, i've been increasing profit of other herbs by making unfinished pots which can't happen with torstols.
Quyneax
Torstols are good, 8.5 sounds a bit unlucky, but without greenfingers I believe snaps are better still. Begbie
slightly off-topic but a while ago i read somewhere that greenfingers stopped the scroll of life effect from working properly, has anyone else heard or experienced this? JeRambo
Scroll of life is 10% chance of getting a seed back from a patch and with greenfingers I'm at 7.65% a patch currently with over 500 seeds back. <_< Without remote farm or greenfingers I would say do snapdragons. That's what I do(I do have tier 2 greenie) and it's around 250-300k profit a run. Torstols are less than that with tier 2 greenfingers/no remote farm. "Night gathers, and now my watch begins. It shall not end until my death. I shall take no wife, hold no lands, father no children. I shall wear no crowns and win no glory. I shall live and die at my post. I am the sword in the darkness. I am the watcher on the walls. I am the shield that guards the realms of men. I pledge my life and honor to the Night's Watch, for this night and all the nights to come." It could be true, but until Jagex confirms it I'd assume it doesn't matter. zoth01
Alright cheers for the information, I'll go with snaps at least until I get greenfingers. By the way, what's the most efficient way to get it? Buy the cheapest tiier one and then stock up until tier 4, or?
Quyneax
Buy each tier as soon as you can, you need to upgrade through all of them anyway. Lord Paul
I agree with Jeremy; torstols really shine only if you can afford to buy bulk seeds and keep a large stock of herbs in bank for the right time to buy/sell. Working on max and completionist capes. 2435/2475
Platinum_Myr
They're actually quite good at the moment, 290k a seed, 34k an herb. But.. you have to have remote farm so that very few of them die. Without remote farm, I wouldn't do torstols, as deaths hit you a lot harder than other seeds (where the bigger loss becomes time). My average for torstols with t1 green fingers (and jujus of course.. if you don't have those no real way torstols would profit) has been just about 9-10 per live herb.
