Power
Which is better? Is there any difference on or off task?
Drazhor
I have used both, though only on task.I managed to kill them faster with the Goliath gloves than I did with a C Maul, though I think it may have only been because of the speed of the gloves compared to the maul Visit my blog! Powerfrog
Gloves are way faster. Easily an extra 15% kills/hour.
Th e Doctor
Just as accurate and two ticks faster with a spec lowering defense. Cow
Would void or bandos be better for waterfiends (yeah, if you were off-task)? Void is based on equipment stats if I remember right, but goliath gloves have poor shown stats. The massive boosts aren't shown. Are there other items like this where void is known to work/not work? Although now that I think of it, the defence and prayer (and, for me, cost) of void probably make it better than bandos anyways. Hm.
enfield
they are just as strong too.
Th e Doctor
Void, last I heard it stacks with the invisible stats when unarmed. Quyneax
Void, last I heard it stacks with the invisible stats when unarmed. And it's worth it:Maxed void would be +29/+41 plus the 82 bonus from goliaths, so let's say +111/+123. Void would provide roughly 17.5 attack bonus and 18.7 strength bonus. 36.2 total. If you do not have imbued rings, kiln cape or steadfast boots, that becomes +17.1/+17.9. 35 total. If you have only glory/swc/tokkul-zo for example (500k setup), that becomes +17.4/+16.9. 34.3 total. But you wouldn't have Bandos anyway so that's not relevant :P. Bandos + neit + defender would be an additional 23 attack and 15 strength. 38 total. So although void is less accurate and offers lower total bonusus, it's probably still better dps considering waterfiends don't have that much crush defence. On really high def targets, Bandos is still better.
