Noob money making Ideas

Featured Replies

OK guys when you started what was your big idea?

How where you going to be rich and famous?

Where you going to pick bananas and put them in the box?

What made you stop it?

What did you do instead?

Mine was to stand there in lumbridge castle and pick up all the mind runes i could and than sell them.. unfourtantley many people did not agree that 27 mind runes were worth a fourtune. Someday someone introduced me to minning and well 79 levels later i have earnt some nice profit...

I think I spent most of my time selling bronze and iron stuff I smithed and got monsters to drop to general stores.

I was thinking of doing the banana box thing till I got Millions, but then I did the math and it would take forever to do it and RS would be boring.

I'm still on my way to sucess.

my idea was to mine iron and sell 50ea

I tried to let the Strange Box that I got from a Mysterious Old Man multiply a few hundred times. Then I could sell all the gems I got for millions!

Sadly enough, it didn't work and was a huge waste of time.

I just hired some newbie to get me 10,000 cow hides for 50k and a rune pick. Now if he does it thats a different story.. Why cant this game be easy :(

i mined and smithed lots of stuff and then... ess mining i think. Yeah, ess mining. after i finish off the 8k ess i have i've got a job open btw :D

Well when I was f2p I would mine silver and sell it to the gen store

Then when I got p2p I went to like lvl 36 wildy and collecting green dragon hides people didn't keep until I had enough for full rune.

I thought mining could make a profit. Then i started merchanting.

I sold leather bodies for 15gp ea in lumby.

After my first 10k I started what now is my main, and sold iron arrowheads for 15gp ea. Eventually went on to nature crafting, from all the glories and ess I bought from arrowheads.

first job was picking bananas for 30gp. i got about 5k doing that which was a lot at that time. then i started mining iron for a guy and he smithed steel stuff and sold it to the general sotre, i got half of the profit. then my friend irl told me how to really make money, and i started merchenting rune and essence at lvl 45 and made tons from that

Smithed bronze and made stuff from that and sold, also ossicionaly picking up the bronze chain in dwarf mining camp

When I started, if I wasn't cutting logs to sell 'em, (yes, I thought that was a good way to make money) I was exploring.

I think it was the 3rd day I played RS (note: this was like in 2002) that I found in Barbarian village, a pottery wheel, but with no clay rocks in sight, I asked a passerby where I could find clay, he said 'follow me!' and brought me to Ice Mountain where I promptly forgot about clay and mined and smith for a year and a half.

I played RS on and off, sometimes months in between.

My goal was to mine and smith full mithril, something I still haven't gotten around to

before farming came out with it seeds and stuff, i made about 100k in 1 day training my melee stats at moss giants on crandor alching drops and such.

i guess thats reasonable really, its nothing compared to what i can kill now, but i mean its fair.

slayer really opened up my killing abilities. ive had 3 mystic bottums (150k ea) in 1 trip a lava a coupe rune helms and lots of herbs.

i would mine and smith thinking i was making a huge profit to mine 400 coal and 200 iron smith into steel longs and sell to a sword shop for 20k

i just fished for abit and got 40

then got 500lobbys for full addy (t)

just trained against kill giants from then on 8) 8)

i mined copper and tin, smelted and smithed into bronze stuff, and sold it to the general store.

i was also only wearing armour i could make for a VERY long time.

on my first ever day i made 600gp at the draynor mansion showing people hot to get to the watering can.

i then started to woodcutt and got to lvl 56 woodcutting on f2p selling everything in general stores lol. at some point a guy randomly gave me mith legs, pl8 and full helm, it took me ages to work out how to raise defense and when i did i trained to that. was combat 17 with mith on and 56 woodcutting. i finnaly found out about tip.it and saw the benfits of members so i got members and started cutting maple it was much better than willow trees at lumbirge and selling to general store.
