While i was killing harpie bugs the mystirious old man appeared and gave me this box, it works just the same as the old one and gave me a few gp, Is it new? I havn't seen it before.

 

 

 

they changed the box event from mysterious old man to help out color blind people. Still the same one.

Not against colour-blind people or anything, but I definately prefered the old one.

ofcourse we wouldnt want to offend anyone, gotta be PC and all.

If a girl has a colorblind father and a mother who carries the colorblind triat, then she has a 50% chance of being colorblind, therefor it is very rare ;)

this is a little misleading... it is only 8% of guys can't distinguish between two colors... like green from red... its not like full on black and white.

It was brought up on their forums too, I believe.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

They made changes to it origionally, but apparently the changes they made didn't show decent enough results. This new look seems like it will work, but I honestly wouldn't know. To be color blind has to be a huge downer. I feel sorry for anyone who has it.

But seriously, I do think this was necessary, because, while it is possible to distinguish shades to determine a color, a colorblind person would have a heck of a time trying to do it, thus taking away from their general enjoyment of the game. :)

One of my best friends (she's a girl) is colorblind. She has a twin sister (not identical) who is not colorblind. Her father is colorblind, her mom is a carrier (not colorblind), and if she has any sons, they'll be colorblind as well. If she has any daughters, they'll be carriers, but will see normally, as her soon-to-be husband is not colorblind.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

For a girl to be colorblind, both XX's must carry the colorblind gene. This is why for a guy XY it's more likely for them to be colorblind.
