Umanyar
Finally decided to get this quest finished, and after an hour killing the stupid avatar, im ready to fight (and kill) Nomad. I looked through some guides, and they all said different things. Last I heard, the best way to kill him was to just use a BoB and get as far as you can, then spam kyatt scrolls or something. Could anyone point me at either a great guide, or just give me a somewhat through run down of how to do this? Keep in mind, I dont have the levels for gano, since I saw that as suggested, but I know this fight was do able before that came out. I have full Bandos if that matters, and have ~2m im willing to burn on pots and ammo and stuff.
Ambler
Wear the best range gear you have, use ruby (e) bolts, you might be able to manage rocktails instead of brews/rests, though you can get unlucky. Stand at distance, pray mage +steel skin+ eagle eye, brink brew, restore and range pot. Bring a pheonix necklace for his lp-1 attack, and don't panic if it takes you a few triesPlace a kyatt pouch 3rd to last in tort, when it appears inyour inventory, dismiss tort, summon kyatt, set it on nomad and spam the Ambush scroll, should be easy enough at your stats. :) Good luck, if you need any more help, just ask! ^^My blog of EoC PvM, lols and Therapy.^^My livestream- Currently: Offline :(Offical Harpy Therapist of the Mad[hide=Lewtations]Barrows drops: Dharok's helm x2, Guthan's helm, Ahrim's top, Hood and skirt, Torag's hammers, Karils skirt, Karil's top, Torag's helm, Verac's skirt, Verac's Flail, Dharok's Platebody.Dag kings drops: Lost count! :wall:4k+ Glacors, 7 Ragefires, 4 Steadfasts, 4 Glaivens, 400+ shards![/hide]
RaelinRainheart
Im ready to fight (and kill) Nomad. First of all, I appluad you on youre decision to go kill what is arguable the hardest boss in the game (so I've heard). Granted, I have not done the quest yet, as I am currently on a Fire cape run, but several of my clanmates have defeated Nomad and this is what they had recommended.Nomad will attack with mostly magic attacks, so Praying againest Magic, whether its a curse or a prayer is a must. The best way to attack him is range in my clan's opinion. Also a must in the fight are sara brews or rocktails. This is because one of Nomad special attacks will nail you for one over your max HP (for example, if your Con lvl is 95, The attack will hit for 951.) Dont worry, after this attack, a pause is given to you. Im guessing thats Nomad's only mercy moment. Also, as mentioned in the guide, try not to play hide-and-seek too long with him. Hide for too long, you are dubbed a 'Coward!' by Nomad and thusly restores all his HP.Last but not least, BE PREPARED TO DIE MANY TIMES! One of my mates said he died like 25 times before killing Nomad. Dont worry. The guide says your grave will be at Soul Wars. That's it from me. Good Luck. Slice off his head! Truthful to the end

Flyingjj
Praying mage does nothing, his normal damage is typeless magic based until he goes into beserk mode, then pray melee seems to help. So, magic defense helps, but mage pray doesn't.
Quyneax
Wear high ranged attack/magic defence equipment and range him with ruby bolts, or wear ganodermic and melee him. Gano defends really well against all his attacks, including the lp-1 attack (soak). It will save you a lot of resources. Assassin1357
All of the others advice is really good. Id like to add that when I did it I didn't even bother with a BOB. I just used the kyatt and spammed the hell of his special attack and it was much easier than when I tried using a BOB. It took y 5-6 tries probably, you will get a hang of what to do just like with most bosses
