The gems would also be more useful if they could be filled from the bank like runecrafting pouches. With most of them, you have to close and reopen the bank for every gem. Also, the non SOF ones seem pretty useless since they disappear after just one trip.

On this point, it's worth mentioning we have a visual on Bandos from the Origin of Gielinor video. There's a frame where we see Bandos fighting Saradomin. (RS Wiki has a screenshot.) He has the body shape of an ourg, but his face is more pig-like than Graardor's, so it's iffy. Worth noting we have an ASSUMED visual, it is by no means confirmed. Yes all logical clues would point to it being Bandos, but we have no actual confirmation of this. Interesting thing is that the symbol on his stomach is the mirror of the symbol of Bandos. As far as I know, there is nowhere ingame except tanking bosses where the extra defense is needed. The damage boost on Nex makes it better almost everywhere. Also, it is starting to come up that PoP armors may degrade differently and do not last as long as Nex gear.

You have to wear them. As soon as you take them off, all monster of that faction become aggressive.

Is the ferocious ring still worth using over the fremmy rings?

Unless things changed with the EoC update, you don't have to damage Nex beforehand. You may want to tag her just to be safe but you don't have to actually damage her afaik.

Black salamander is an extremely good option for low budgets. It is a level 70 2h bolt weapon

Yes it would have... Level 3's would stop camping soulwars and start paying slayers for fast assignments to get slayer points to spend on the 10k slayer xp rewards. Also I'm think that this duo thing will be an extention of the assist system. Anyone think about what other types of slayer pets we could get to buy? For nostalgias sake I could imagine having baby turoths, dark beasts, etc. I'm trying to think what my favorite slayer creature i would like as a pet (other than the ones gained from soulwars or that are familiars)... Don't you need to complete smoking kills to unlock slayer points?

First of all, I appluad you on youre decision to go kill what is arguable the hardest boss in the game (so I've heard). Granted, I have not done the quest yet, as I am currently on a Fire cape run, but several of my clanmates have defeated Nomad and this is what they had recommended. Nomad will attack with mostly magic attacks, so Praying againest Magic, whether its a curse or a prayer is a must. The best way to attack him is range in my clan's opinion. Also a must in the fight are sara brews or rocktails. This is because one of Nomad special attacks will nail you for one over your max HP (for example, if your Con lvl is 95, The attack will hit for 951.) Dont worry, after this attack, a pause is given to you. Im guessing thats Nomad's only mercy moment. Also, as mentioned in the guide, try not to play hide-and-seek too long with him. Hide for too long, you are dubbed a 'Coward!' by Nomad and thusly restores all his HP. Last but not least, BE PREPARED TO DIE MANY TIMES! Basically, when you dg you do all of the high level floors as larges and with a big team to maximize the xp you get. You rush the lower leveled floors on complexity 1 or 2 because they give far less xp. You need to complete all floors to maintain your prestige, so you do c2 rushes to gain fishing xp also. You can also do woodcutting and even mining this way.

Fishing can be trained very quickly by doing low c2 dungeons and fishing all the spots. This will help dg training by making it more worthwhile to rush floors. Mining is afkable at lava flow mine and living rock caverns. You need 77 or 80 mining to go to lrc and lava flow mine is slower xp, but you also get the golden mining suit.

Try bringing a spirit Kyatt and ambush scrolls. Dismiss your tort just before the melee stage and summon the kyatt. Spam the special move button and your kyatt will deal most of the damage for the final phase.
