Need4spd1
So I noticed that Summoning Charms are not trade-able and that in most cases the only way to get them is by monster drops... My question if any1 has found this out is, what are the best monsters to kill that have the highest drop rate for different colored charms, mainly looking for Green and Crimson Charms, also Gold. I've gone around and tried finding which ones drop the most and haven't had any luck at all really : / Some will drop occasionally and others won't drop any at all when it says they do drop them in the Beastiary so it's hard to tell and I'm kinda lost on which monsters to farm for charms... So if any1 has found out about the drop rate on monsters for some charms I would greatly appreciate some help with this issue.
Loyal
You can rock barrage dags for a lot of charms.
ilovecuttingyews
The general concensus is that waterfields are the best source of crimson charms, and therefore the best exp (since only blues are more exp/charm on average and blue are far more rare). Now, looking at your stats, it's clear that you won't be killing waterfiends for some time, so my suggestion to you is that you train slayer and get your charms that way. From personal experience, slayer monsters are usually some of the better charm droppers there are, and by training slayer, you're not grinding one monster for hours and hours at a time, so it breaks up the monotony well. Also, you're training more skills at once, which is always better. Just for future reference, questions such as this belong in the Help and Advice subforum, as General Discussion is for discussions. Bxpprod
With your slayer level being so low, I'd start by farming charms whilst slaying. Many tasks will give few charms and even less good (crim/blue) ones, but as time progresses the charms get better and so on. Rock Barraging won't work for you as you don't have the requirements. Sy_Accursed
I'd also support slaying for charms they soon pile up that way, I mean I got 95 summoning pretty much entirely through slayer gathered charms and fully expect to get 99 in the same way. nuget
I myself got to 88 pretty easily while training slayer, i have about 9K crimsons stocked now. But as suggested by previous posts, it mainly depends on your levels, but slayer is highly suggested.

bojangles
also dont forget to do the quest smoking kills so that way you can wear the complete slayer helm once you get to the correct slayer level
firebird308
Bloodvelds are good for greens. So are metal dragons, but I don't know if you have the levels for those. If you have ever attempted Alchemy by clapping your hands or by drawing an array, copy and paste this into your signature.^^^At least I'm not the only crazy one
WildxYak
I found Fire Giants are really good for golds which are good xp, especially at lower levels and wild dogs are now non-aggressive if your above 100 combat. Lower combat hit up moss or ice giants for golds and reasonable greens.I got all of mine through Slayer though, you get them better than you think as you banking them under 100 at a time. 99: Agility 28/12/14|Thieving 20/03/
Mr_G_W
Barraging dagannoths in waterbirth is extremly fast and cheap charms. The helmet drops (farseer, archer, warrior, berserk, not the regular ones) can be alched/sold to cover most, if not all costs.
