Low Levelled
Haven't actively been around for awhile, and I have some questions. How did EOC change slayer? I really don't know much about this, but from what i've read it seems weaknesses are a lot more important. What exactly are player owned ports? And are there any resource gathering type material that is a sufficient source of income, if coupled with the occasional herb farming run? Thanks guys. chenw
EoC basically made slayer a lot easier, since it's multi combat everywhere. In theory, weakness's are somewhat, but then there are players who advocate Barraging everything under the sun, which makes sense too. (If you need to get combat XP in other stats, you can use the saved time from barraging to level to 99). Bloods are back on the rise due to the Charming Imp (which makes charm collection completely afk'able), but maging in general has been made cheaper than Pre-EoC. Player Owned ports is basically kind of Facebook game type minigame in RS, there is some grind involved initially, but after it's mostly a D & D, you eventually work toward T85 armor sets (both tradeable and non-tradeable versions exist, although only the non-tradeable ones do not degrade to dust and repairable), Rocktail Soup (best food in the game atm) and Scrimshaws (it goes in your pocket slot and gives a variety of effects). Note, to start PoP at all, you must have 90 in at least one of: Fishing, Runecrafting, Slayer, Prayer, Herblore or Thieving (none of which are boostable), in order to make the most out of PoP, it is advisable to have more 90's, preferably all. You also need 95 cooking, 93 fletching, 90 smithing and 90 crafting to be able to make everything PoP has to offer. Well, notable sources of daily income include, but not limited to, Flasks, Broad Arrowheads (6000 every 24h), battlestaves (up to 100 every 24h), and MTK. 6,924th to 30 hunting, 13,394th to 30 summoning, 52,993rd to 30 DivinationKiln Record (Post-EoC): W 25 - L 0, 14 Uncut Onyx, 8 Jad hits received (Best record: Two in the same kiln)Obby set renewed post update #2: 0QBD drops: 21 crossbow parts, 3 Visages, 1 Kites, 2 KitsMax Port Score [2205] Achieved: 27th April 2013 (World 2nd) Farmyard Rampage ranking: 12th, 50,000 Kills. Sy_Accursed
Do your daily challenges as they give some amazing xp. Haha did those ever get nerfed? I remember doing one when it came out and getting a shit ton of dungeoneering xp. They didn't need to be nerfed, they were rewarding for what they asked you to do but not too insanely high. Dg only seems high because it goes far beyond the 13m 99, but even when your getting 100k a task it still is comparable to your max 5 man floor done large with max prestige. Don't forget after all 99's 13m xp is only 1/8th of the total xp for 120 thanks to the xp curve doubling every 7 levels. With 104m required for lvl 120 100k xp is a drop in the ocean, like 0.1% of the total xp required. Hedgehog
New question. Why exactly is gold ore 400+ gp?And as tempting as it may be to bank gold ore with those prices, it's not worth it. I don't think you were really in any danger of doing so, I just don't want a lurker to see that gold is valuable and think that banking is a good idea.
