scottdoggz88
This month theres alot of talk about the new updates! +THIS IS A PREDICTION ONLY,NOT EVERYTHING IN THIS POST MAY NOT BECOME TRUE! BUT EXPERT HIGH LVL'S BELIEVE IN THIS THEORY! There's been talking about the new 20+ items that are being added to the new treasure trails. Many pridictions are being made on this months updates and heres some that are certain will happen! ____________________________________________ PREDICTIONS 1. New Armour (range, mage, and melee) an addition to the ranger sets and even some new magic items like the boots. 2. All prices will drop rapidly beetween now and the update (whips, obsidian, and much more.) my advise is to sell everything and keep your money because stick with the money because its a certain price unlike your items A. what to stay awayfrom (obby, whips, rangers, god armours, and anything to basicly do with treasure trails.) 3. I advise to make smart decisions these next few weeks, because you may want to sell your items and buy the future updates before they become hott items ( i think this is the smartest thing to do, because its a great merchanting chance) ___________________________________________________ MERCHANTING TIPS AND TRICKS 1. Buy new items before they become HOTT! (why do this? because its a great chance to get a easy 100k- to even millions.) 2. Sell your items you have now because you may get a chance to merchant and make some quik do-ray-me.$$$$$ 3. If people are selling there items because they want the new updates my advise is BUY WHAT YOU CAN!, im thinking buy lots and lots of quantities of these! (obby capes and shields, rangers, and other easy merchant things"buy as low as posible because im warning you they may drop!" Theres some great tips on this coming months updates! good luck with the treasure trailing! THANKS TO THE HELP OF: Sandburg64,Scottdoggz88,Kg Unit,Mitcho222,Ned 221, woodsyx, davonavitch, brandonliu, ultramage, and many more to the help and support of these predicitions! caughtjoo
1.Whips shouldnt be outdone anytime soon, so i seriously doubt the new dragon will have any effect on it. 2. It will likely be p2p, so please use that forum next time.
imhomer
hmmm......a wannabe nostradamus? lol  . I think some of the predictions are true except for the one about items dropping in price. I doubt that items will drop in price very much at all because of the updates. Instead I think that the drop in price will be because of the suffusion of the market with more and more rare items. It's the natural course of markets. I don't doubt that there will be a small change but I think the items might actually go up in price ofr a while and here's why. When new items are created, they're always horrendously overpriced. This will cause a flurry of sellers of rare items like whips to raise their prices in order to fundraise for the newest, shiniest items. Eventually the price of rare items will normalize and so will the price of the rare item.
Indizle
Ok, so a whip and obby cape, which have nothing to do with treasure trails, will lower in price because of more items coming out for treasure trails? How'd you work that one out? I'm sure the prices on those will remain the same since this update does NOTHING to change the number of whips and obby capes that are coming into the market, nor does it introduce weapons that will outperform the whip or a cape to outperform the obby cape. The only thing that could possibly reduce the price of the whip right now is the new dragon weapon, but judging from the weapons left, and the most likely predicted stats, etc, its probably not gonna dent the price too much. I do however, agree that God and trimmed armors, along with other current trail items, will lower in price. I do predict a great influx in the number of players doing treasure trails, and thus more of these sets(along with the new items) will enter the market. My guess is around a 5% drop in prices; note that it is not an educated guess, just what I feel the drop in prices will be. Also, this update, along with the dragon weapons update, will increase the number of players in the wild, and consequently, the number of PKers. Just bewarned that you maybe face more enemies than usual in the wild.

Unitedite
The idea that new items have a period of being cheap before they shoot up in price is pretty daft imo. When the first new items come out, they've rarer than they ever will be again, and a price isn't fixed so people try to milk as much out of them as possible by setting high prices. Look at Infinity robes, master wands, dragon hachets, death tallies, etc - they were all massive in price from the very moment they came out, then started to fall. So the suggestion that people should sell their items to buy new items "before they become hot" isn't a very good one imo. In a little hilltop village they gambled for my clothesI bargained for salvation and they gave me a lethal doseI offered up my innocence, I got repaid with scorn"Come in'', she said, "I'll give you shelter from the storm"
yurpsie
I hope my zamorak armour doesn't drop anytime soon! However, I doubt the new rewards are going to be f2p so hopefully god armour will sustain.

However, I doubt the new rewards are going to be f2p so hopefully god armour will sustain. If i were you, I would sell my zamorak before like monday, for the full price you paid at least. Hold on to that cash, and wait it out a bit, seeing how the new items have affected the price of god armors. That way, if they become cheaper, you dont lose money. Satenza
No, i don't think you should sell your God Armour. Theres more thance it will rocket in price than go down. Maybe not a first but in coming weeks. 20 new items means that God armours WILL be harder to get in treasure trails. Meaning that they will become less common (not rare). Hold on to it. With so many trees in the city you could see the spring coming each day until a night of warm wind would bring it suddenly in one morning. Sometimes the heavy cold rains would beat it back so that it would seem that it would never come and that you were losing a season out of your life. But you knew that there would always be the spring as you knew the river would flow again after it was frozen. When the cold rains kept on and killed the spring, it was as though a young person had died for no reason. In those days though the spring always came finally but it was frightening that it had nearly failed.

Dexek
Well, it seems people are trying to sell their god armours in world 1 for less money, mainly zammy. I sold my 3 god armour sets today for more than I bought for, but I see other people selling zammy sets 2.65m and guthix 1.65m.....So this price thing could go either way in my opinion, nothing lost, nothing gained for me as of now. :) PoetryIndexed Picture 1Indexed Picture 2 Killed my maxed Zerker pure April 2010 Rebooting Runescape
