April 19, 201313 yr Saw this on reddit. A bunch of popular streamers are trying to bring back fally park as a trading hub again... Thought I'd share Runescape player since 2005 Ego Sum Deus Quo Malum Caligo et Barathum
April 19, 201313 yr I'm in support of it but doubt enough people will actually do it and kick it off as an on-going thing, which is unfortunate as it really is a better place for it than varrock. I'm personally happy sticking to zybes and minimizing the amount of time looking and waiting for traders. People that don't want GE can go to hell, it was perfect, and trading with humans face to face is agonizing.
April 19, 201313 yr I think a lot of people want it at fally but go to varrock as it is where everyone else is.If there is a mass movement I think it could work. Check it out, huge amount of effort has gone into this massive mod![hide=old sig][/hide]
April 19, 201313 yr I think that the reason people decided to use Varrock instead of Falador was because Falador was too much of a hassle to get to.So now, everyone's at Varrock, so unless enough people decide to move to Falador (unlikely), as 999 said, it'd probably stay at Varrock. Fally does seem to be the better trade area too, what with it being much larger than the area around Varrock west bank.
April 19, 201313 yr All the different barrows spots are not marked out :(karils was in the statue and veracs across the bridge IRC, Guthans just north of karils closest to whips. Also Third age was a little to the right. Check it out, huge amount of effort has gone into this massive mod![hide=old sig][/hide]
April 19, 201313 yr :D Would probably be wise to separate raw/cooked food and possibly have another section for cooked sharks/mantas I see no skillers stuff like ores bars logs bowstrings... No section for pots? Herb spot would be awfully packed if you did seeds herbs AND pots there... (Plus herbs and pots have completely different target buyers)
April 19, 201313 yr no that's a "guide" to world 2 trading spots from before the GE was releasedOh I'm well aware, just saying, if we're going to bring it back we might as improve it in the initial stages rather than get into bad habits.
April 19, 201313 yr ah, well fletching/alch stuff was w2 seers and ores/bars were w1 falador IIRC. other f2p stuff was in w1 varrock
April 20, 201313 yr I like how it is right now, because all of the expensive items are bunched up into one area, so you don't half to run back and forth. I just don't want half the people to be in Falador and half the people to be in Varrock. Not everybody is going to go to Falador, so I really don't want this to happen. If it works somehow, I won't really care. But it's guaranteed that there will be some divide and it will mess up my trading for several days if not weeks.
April 20, 201313 yr I don't see any reason to try and move it other than to tickle some nostalgia in people. Varrock is fine, and I think it actually works better, since the way Varrock works right now, it actually uses the walls of buildings to have set selling/buying areas. It's definitely not a size issue, since there's that whole East varrock too should people feel the need to make more room. April 20, 201313 yr Author Yes, there is a size issue. You have more text in a smaller area. It is harder to see anything Runescape player since 2005 Ego Sum Deus Quo Malum Caligo et Barathum
April 20, 201313 yr It's not the location that is the problem it is the way that the community decide to use the location. Fally and varrock are both more than big enough, but people seem to only use varrock west as it's unorganized. Which is exactly my point regarding pots and herbs.
April 20, 201313 yr Yes, there is a size issue. You have more text in a smaller area. It is harder to see anything Then use more of Varrock, instead of just the west bank area. April 21, 201313 yr Really hope it moves to fally, varrock is too small.. No it isn't An old player from 2004-2011. I'm back for the 2007 servers, let's see how long this lasts. My account's display name used to be Sir Izenhime Stupid Should Hurt

April 21, 201313 yr Personally I preferred Falador. But as a collective movement, I can't see it changing. Unless FC's and massive groups of individuals each decide to move to Fally park, forcing others to relocate, it simply wont happen.

It doesn't add any discussion to the thread and is a waste of bandwidth on the internet. It's not spamming at all. Varrock is not too small by any means.
