So its been a while since I've went outa my way to get charms (used to just slayer for them) but I really want to get 96 summoning.

Whats the best way to get charms? ~3.2k crimson

I heard something about cannon'ing dags is better that bursting?

one thing you are going to want what ever it is you end up doing is a charming imp from dungeoneering, that is if you dont already have one

 

water feinds could also be pretty good, but i am not an expert at this.

Cannon + barrage dagannoths is fast xp and charms.

Better than that is glacors, you save a lot of money (talking 3m profit instead of 1-2m loss per hour).

Dags you do on waterbirth. Rockbarrage is fine since you have soul split. Just use that with a bonecrusher + tier 2 or higher prayer necklace from DG for infinity health and prayer.

 

Seriously do Glacors though. It's 100+ crimson and 100+ blues per hour and profit. And it's great magic exp. And just do it.

Glacors is over 500k magic xp/hr and as stated above great charms. Some say 700k magic xp/hr is possible i haven't tested enough to determine that though.

I'll be citation. I easily get 400k magic xp on a 8 overdose (40 min) trip, and I'm not the fastest glacorer out there as I loot rather time-consumingly.

I'll second Q on that 500k+/hr estimate, I am horribly slow at glacors and I still manage to get at least 400k/hr without hardly paying attention, and nowhere near max stats or gear. I even use a SoL, but i'm working on fixing that haha.

Yes, you don't want to use ice barrage because freezing them will mess you up. Also, get a bonecrusher and split dragontooth necklace. Then you can camp soulsplit and not have to worry about running out of prayer.

<10m in seriousness. Void with ASN, God cloak, gano boots, SoL, Barrows gloves and Sixth age circuit. Sometimes i'll use gano, which is like all together under 2m, and i'll also sometimes use a RoW for fun instead of the circuit. My setup is pretty welfare atm, but it still does pretty well. Just so long as you get used to using the abilities at correct times, using blood barrage for the minions, and eventually using a higher tiered wand and book so the minions die faster.

Sorry about that, typo haha. I'm wearing hybrid gear atm for barrows and was looking at what I was wearing rather than thinking what the set had.

I think I'll try glacors tonight and if it doesn't work right, i'll just barrage dags

Don't lure glacytes, never kill Enduring last, Impact is rather good dps, Wild Magic and Asphyxiate are very good - use them often. Don't bother with ultimates.

 

Void, subjugation and virtus all work. Since you don't have vwand, you'll have to use cstaff or treachery - not sure which is best, treachery might splash a lot.

I assume Wild Magic is fixed now? It was a really worthless ability just recently.

Wild Magic hits twice now, yes. It still has a very low minimum hit, but the max hit is very high as well (as high as Omnipower or higher, certainly).

You should really give EOC slayer a shot. It's pretty fast / easy and still good charms, especially at higher levels.

I've been using treach+ah book with subj robes for my figures. Haven't tested c staff. Been getting 30+ blues alone after 30 minutes though.

oh, I apologize. I didn't realize we were still discussing Glacor techniques. I remember seeing people use ranged attacks to take down glacors in EOC beta, I guess this method is no longer used from the looks of things?

The double damage thing for fire spells got fixed, so yeah, blood/fire spells >>> anything. In general, assume that any beta things aren't accurate anymore.
