How long does MTK profit?

Featured Replies

With bonds being a convenient way to get short term membership, I foresee myself getting P2P more often (during weeks with no midterms, etc) but still sporatic. This leaves me wondering, how long does MTK profit if I'm not P2P to keep my favour at 100%?

I have 7.5M in the coffers.

I have 10 Herb, 5 mining. (Is that the best?)

I'm not sure how much I can answer, but I when you do leave then come back you should always get 100% approval again, then check and see what the best set up is. There were some weeks in the summer when woodcutting and mining was best, so it really depends on the day you return and collect.

In general I think the lower your approval rating, the more inefficient the workers are with your money. So while you still get maybe X amount of coal, over time, they will use more and more of the what was in the coffers than what they would have if you kept it at 100% or above 90%. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong but that's how I think it works.

It will last 100 days with diminishing returns of ~.5% per day if the Wiki is correct. I don't know much I would trust the WIki's calculation of diminishing returns but there it is.

MTK does not function when you are not a member.

MTK does not function when you are not a member.

According to the unofficial wiki:

"If there is money in the coffers and the player's membership ends, the workers in Miscellania (and Etceteria, if Royal Trouble is completed) still continue gathering resources and deducting money from the coffers accordingly."

and I'm almost positive that someone from TIF confirmed this way back in the day, but it was so long ago that I am not certain.

Every confirmation I've ever seen is that it ceases to function when you go f2p.

It should still keep working well as you as you have over 750k when the money is withdrawn from the coffers. I'm pretty sure they keep taking from the ocffers when are you no longer a memeber. I just took a three year gap, and when I came back I got 100% approval, and had a huge pile of resources and empty coffers.

Not true. When I got my membership back I collected resources from the whole time I was gone. I had 7500 k in my coffers when I left and when I came back I had way less.
