Major Dash
I really haven't played since..... April/May 2013? I used to to QBD for cash back then, but I know a lot has changed since. I went back to try it out, but it was rather disastrous with a kdr of 1:6. I was wondering if the QBD got buffed or something and whether or not it is really still worth doing over other things like Dwogres, DKS, or Kree. Or... Perhaps I'm just doing it wrong? I still die like every two kills or something, and it makes me chew through Rocktails like none-other. Relevant levels HP: 99Att: 99Str: 99Def: 97Pray: 99Summ: 96Herb: 9X (I don't remember, but I have OVLS) I'm using Bandos (helm/chestplate/tassets/boots/ammy), Barrows gloves, kiln cape, and dual maces. Any thoughts? “I had a feeling we weren’t coming back from this fight when it began.”“Do you have any regrets?”“I don’t. It seems surprising, I know, but I wouldn’t change a thing. This is how it was meant to be.”“Huh, you never really notice how lovely the day is until you realize you’ll never see it again.”“Mmmhmm.”
Quyneax
Dwogres are useless, dks are very good, Kree I'm not sure but I think is mediocre. I'm not sure what got changed about the QBD, but it's still quite viable with tetsu/drygores. Try improving on your gloves/amulet (not sure what a Bandos amulet is). Saradomin_Mage
Whisper amulet of course :P QBD is way too hard to tank in Bandos, Tetsu is much preferable. In real life MMO you don't get 99 smithing by making endless bronze daggers.
inner fears
tried this also yesterday , 2 kills per ovl ... still same imo , though camera is screwed there... reckon you need proper action bar setup

Major Dash
I was barely breaking 1m per hour due to all of the deaths, which is nowhere near 5m+ p/h. I can't use Tetsu due to a lack of 90 smithing, and I don't really have the money to spend 20m every 5 deaths I have to buy a new set of armor. I'm pretty sure I just use the generic action bar with 4/5 basics, assault/destroy/flurry, berserk, and damage reduction ability. @SarcasticUsing more food means you lose out on a lot of kills per hour. I used to be able to sustain myself of the Rocktails you get from the chest, but that isn't the case anymore. “I had a feeling we weren’t coming back from this fight when it began.”“Do you have any regrets?”“I don’t. Wkw
Degradable tetsu costs nothing if you keep it. Protect item + sign of item protecetion means you keep 5 items; 3 degradable tetsu and 2 drygores Runescape player since 2005 Ego Sum Deus Quo Malum Caligo et Barathum

krimi
Tetsu helps, but isn't necessary. Get a good ability rotation going. Use assault and destroy whenever you can. Use berserk on wave three or four. I've been fooling around with this. I can't say for sure when using berserk is best. Use thresholds while under berserk (bring adrenalines to make this easier). You can power through the last wave if you time your berserk and thresholds correctly. However, be ready to eat more than usual if things don't go your way (queen turns green/four soul attacks/mega breath).

But whatever man, if you thin it's a huge issue then avoid it. I can't help you anymore if you want to ignore the advice. Ned
Yeah, before I upgraded to Tetsu I did QBD fine with sharks + bandos + drygores. After getting used to how it all worked the only times I ever died would be when she got lucky as hell combos/the grotworms somehow took steroids that round. Want to help the Tip.It Crew? I used to be able to sustain myself of the Rocktails you get from the chest, but that isn't the case anymore. Gear : Bandos, Whisper, 6th Age Circuit, Kiln Cape, Drygore Maces, Vamp Scrim, and Penance aura. With Soul Split, Turmoil, and Overloads you should only average 4-6 rocktails per kill if you know her mechanics well enough. Pre-armor/accuracy nerf it was very possible to just tank everything because she did almost no damage to those in t7 armor and above. Not the case anymore. You need to avoid superbreath, kite the souls attacks (only one I still have a hard time with is the x4 souls) and avoid timestops (only really an issue on x4 souls if she goes carapace). Tetsu really does help a lot in reducing damage coming from the queen enough to the point where you can sub out the helm/gloves/boots for range gear to help reduce more damage from the grotworms. If you have full torva you should be using that. If you find yourself dying a lot its because you aren't taking care to reduce easily avoidable damage. My normal rotation is to basic up to assault and that normally finishes off the first wave. The second wave is basics up to assault and destroy which normally finishes that wave.3rd wave is essentially the same as wave #2 except that depending on her hp I will only do one of assault or destroy to make sure that I have enough adrenaline to berserk phase 4.Phase 4 is berserk -> adrenaline potion -> basics to assault -> assault -> basics till done or destroy depending on luck. Important to note that when she goes crystal or carapace it lasts for a set period of time. Meaning that if she crystals at the end of phase 3, even though she looks normal at the start of phase 4 she still is super weak to melee unless she specifically goes carapace or the time for crystal runs out. Always avoid superbreath on phase 4 even if it means you mess up and lose your berserk. With penance aura you shouldn't need any prayer besides the prayer renewals. I'm not nearly as fast as most people and I still manage 3.5-4 m/hr when I go to QBD. Work on mechanics and you'll get it. Major Dash
My problem is the souls. I never understood how to avoid damage from them, so I just tank those. I know you have to like run at them or something, but the game reaction time is just such bs that I could never get it to work. “I had a feeling we weren’t coming back from this fight when it began.”“Do you have any regrets?”“I don’t.
