February 22, 200620 yr Why not Black hide (g) and (t) for example ? That is actually what I was hoping for you. :( Of course you have a right to rant and i have a right to pick on you. *poKe* *throws tj* You can't leave!!! jfroggy
February 22, 200620 yr There are 42 new treasure trail items. 15 of these are Heraldic shields. They come black, addy, and runite. There are 5 types of each shield.
February 22, 200620 yr I have a black one...it has red/gold squares I too lazy to upload a pic though, so you can find me in game in server 36 lol lol, n33b. why haven't you come to KoFh? *points to recruitment board* And Tj, I remember how much you were cashing in daily when TT were first put in game. I don't think anyone was as lucky as you were in getting god items. Where was the word "useless" then? :P I plead ignorance. NO one ever told me about the new group :D
February 22, 200620 yr For example the Chaos Elemental update would have been great if : a) They fixed the incredible autoskulling bug BEFORE releasing this update (refer to LEESTER's post for further details) B) They didn't place it in the middle of the usual PK groups route, making it a totaly pk clan oriented update and risking it to get deserted in a few days. c) The D2H was actualy a decent weapon since both Whips and Great Axe are far better. In the last days of speculation i personaly hoped it could attack multitargets on regular basis, not just as a special...too bad d) They made the respawn faster, since so many free-from action minutes and so many pkers don't go well together... What we mainly need is gameplay additions (in the form of skills or massive skill updates, such as Abyss was for RC , for example) not 100 new ways to look cooler with friends...My 2 cents. I hardly ever agree with you because I think you have a way too pessimistic view on things but I couldn't agree more with you on (a couple of) the above points. a) this bug has been in existence for a long long time and the first thing I thought when they said the new monster would be in multi-way wilderniss was that they were going to fix that bug. When they didn't update last week I thought they fixed the bug quietly without admitting it ever to be in existence, but fixing it anyways. b, c and d) are actually points that can't be seen seperately. If the d2h were and awesomely powerfull weapon worth getting, the monster location and slow respawn times would have made sense. Since the monster is not that hard to kill (so I've heard  ), the risks of pking clans is needed in order not to flood the world with d 2handers. Also the slow respawn time fits in here because teams coming there with the intent to kill the elemental might turn on each other during the waiting time. The reason for the d2h stats being so low is quite understandable: dragon weapons never need to be repaired. Why bother buying a greataxe that needs repairs every 15 hours when you could get a d2h with better stats that needs no repairs ever? Now if they had made the d2h slighty better or equal to the greataxe, but worse then full dharoks that would have been great. On your last comment about gameplay additions, they try some small ones allright (tool leprechauns, mobile spitroast) but a big skill update to let's say crafting would be more then welcome. Haven't played RuneScape since 12 january 2007 and it feels great :)

I see you get my point. And yes, as i told previously i am pretty pessimistic about where RS is heading recently, but i have my reasons. I've been a great supporter of the game, playing (and paying) for ages, even when it took 1 year to make the exp nowadays you can make in 1 month (literaly, if you have been a RSC player back to when r2h was 2 mils, you know what i mean). On top of my wishlist is to keep playing this game, cause i realy found good friends and good fun, but unfortunately i'm to that point where all skills are a pain (infinite routines...) and i'm not a great fan of bot-like gameplay. After boring(obviously) August i was just hoping for another great season, renewed my membership and all...But, with my own surprise, i started feeling very disappointed by, let's say 90% of updates, for this or that reason. I started feeling the overall quality of the updates was getting farther and farther from what we were used to...That's why i'm greedly waiting for something new to do and well, i took my time to examine ALL updates since last year January, and i found out this huge difference between those first 6 months and the latest... I'll be the first one to greet Jagex if next month will introduce great updates, i'm not on a personal crusade you know. All i want is a better game, nothing more.
February 22, 200620 yr Good eye SoulAttacker, i would have never seen that. I had to look about 5 times, guessing being drunk at noon didn't help much either. Anyways thanks for pointing that out and i dont think it will effect the prices that much.
February 22, 200620 yr IT's great to see how people can put so much interest, if not even fight over junky items like these. Face it, all new "treasures" together with badly/unoriginaly designed are totaly useless, most of them being very very noobish too. Even if there were 4 versions, those would be 4 version of an ugly item. Only thing that's worth the addition is probably the "enchanted" set, even if it's only a lvl 40 magic set, similar to mystic. At the moment i'm not aware of a single trail item that shows to be a useful addition to the game (as for example, mage and range boots were, or pages, or robin hood...) There's been a huge hype around these new trails. I personaly have always been pessimistic over them, and d2h too (omg another wasted drag item)... As usual recently, Jagex proved me right. Sad. Wow, what a baby! i think its a cool update! IF you dont like it, QUIT!! and do me a favor and stop whining, dam kids.
February 22, 200620 yr wow don't u feel special sorta like u ahve too much time on ur hands. No one cares about addy items cept newbs. I am sorry to say this five zeros in a pixilated game is not gonna make me want to spend my pixels on rubbish like that. But for the newbs they are prohably pooping there pants as they might have a chance at getting a "special" item. --cube-- Cube, do you realy think that all people care about the bonuses of a item:?: People wear Black (g) gold for looks, ive seen Level 100+'s in it, lighten up, i can just see you in runescape right now trying to buy the sheild :)

Go get a brain and some behavior, you might also wanna try that on E-Bay. After that, and only after that, you might be able to post something decent. Full stop.

I see why your getting flamed, but you have your points Miniclips helped and ruined runescape. It added some good players but 100X the 'noobs'. D2h is useless, whip is soooo much better, it has no real purpose other than pkers. And yes, there has not been a kick [wagon] update in a while. THis one is probably a 4 or 5 on a scale of 1-10 They need more players influences on where the games should go. Easy as that. Hire a new guy to go around asking players what they want...... Ian
February 23, 200620 yr Major skill additions for higher levels or just benificial to all and not just "noob" items that only lower lvl players will use. Clan support (y) Weekly in game events to stave off repetition and boredom (y) More STAT boosting items for all classes that allow you to be unique but not loose effieceincy because of looking unique. And most of all find ways to make all areas of RS useful to go to and not just a land sparsly traveled due to lack of feasibility...such as elf land and ape atoll. Also gotta roll in some new tele spells with this cause people hate walking ;) Mainly jagex needs to step away from satisfying the lower lvl's of rs for awhile.
