March 2, 200620 yr It is fun and all to play castle wars. But there are those times when you get in just too late and you have to wait 15 minutes for the next game. So how do you pass the time. I suggest Jagex add viewing orbs (like the ones at the tzhaar arena). You can view multiple places around the arena, and enjoy watching how your team is doing.

March 2, 200620 yr Author the problem with standing on the wall is that you can only see a very tiny part of the arena...and all that you can see is a section that few people frequent (plus you can't see underground). This would be nothing like tzhaar. All I want is to be able to sit down inside my teams waiting room and watch the action from all angles.

And i hate waiting, so i always leave. Good idea man!
March 5, 200620 yr Hmm, haven't played Castle Wars, I'm f2p. But, I don't see that it would be that hard to allow non-players into the castle wars arena, but Jagex would have to be careful about it. Lets see, best way I can think of is to drop a character into a "non-body". It would be a body object which allows connection, movement, and visibility, but is invisible, and unable to interact with it's surroundings. Invisible, mute, and intangible. The player's normal body would be saved at the point when they entered the arena. That way if they got disconnected, or something else happened that logged them out, they would just come back in their own body at the enterance area to castle wars. This may, or may not, be how they did the viewing orbs, I don't know. They could also add sparing rooms. If there is more than one person waiting, you could go into the sparing rooms and practice your tactics. Good, bad, why?
March 7, 200620 yr they could make it like people could enter the arena but be invisible to the players, and not able to communicate. also their chats would be switched off to avoid cheating -.- infinite run would be nice :D
March 8, 200620 yr i think there should be a huge viewing layer over the castle wars game. but you wont be in the game. so you could alch your yew longs and be entertained by watching the action below. yea thatd be cool
March 8, 200620 yr That sounds like a cool idea. But they would have to disable the friends list while you are watching, because someone could have a bunch of people spying for a certain team. It might not be that big of a problem, but Just incase. They could also have some that would focus on the flags, so you can follow the person who grabs one.
