I've 3 red, 1 blue and 2 green. I don't know how often they occur but I do know I get a lot of nests... least I've 137 saved up since they introduced sara pots. Before that point I used to get a lot more nest but I used to throw them away back then.

There isn't a new purpose for them. As much as I dislike Jagex, they don't just make items and not have a purpose for them.

And tiles are openly available. Bird eggs, on the other hand, aren't. Clearly they have a plan on what they will be used for. You don't make an item so uncommon and not have a use for it (Maybe I should have been a bit more clear).

Yes, that "Different Subject" is what we are mainly talking about in this topic :) , and thats true that they will have the same exact purpose as when it was made. I sure don't know that purpose! :P That is one of the things we are speculating about.
