I recently got a birds nest that had a "Bird's Egg" in it. When I examine this "Bird's Egg" it says that it is "A Red Bird's Egg" (No suprises there). I got to thinking, this item has no use, is not tradable, (yes it is not tradable!) could it be a new pet?

 

 

 

I am interested in hearing everyone elses oppinion upon this matter, and if you got one tell everyone! (and name the color :wink: ). If this is a new pet, maybe it could even be a pet bird! :P :Finally a fun pet, that might be able to do some fun stuff! 8)

I dont know, but jagex said they would be adding some new pets with that 100th quest.... maybe it will be a pet once that quest comes out? And I stink at taking pics, so that would be hopeless.... :oops:

The eggs have actually been in the game for a while now. I personally have a red one sitting in my bank waiting for a use for it to come out.

Ya I know, but the whole point of THIS topic is to discuss the possibility of the egg being a part of the 100th quest, maybe even being an unlockable quest reward (Like Lazy Cats, or Wily Cats), if you catch my drift :wink: . But im not trying to be mean! :P

How many nests did you got? Do you know? I have 3 egss (2 blues and 1 red i think) in 100 nests.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I would say that 3% drop from a nest (that itself is a uncommon event) is pretty uncommon to get eggs.

I have a red one sitting in my bank. And I dont think they will be a part of the new quest, simply because you would have to get one from a random event before it could be used in the quest.

yes i think jagex meant to turn them into a new pet but they were just to busy...mabye soon :D

i think they are like the thing with magnificus motifyer, and his elemental magics. now they have a use and they were introduced into the game a long time ago.

Well its really unclear whether they would be God related. Its just a lot of people picked up on the fact that each available egg represents a certain God (which is mainly based on the trimming of the God armors).
