If you still get hacked after having a firewall and no viruses on your computer it may be a "dictionary Hacker", for those who don't know is someone who goes through typing every single possible password

As is not using the same password anywhere else, like here. I recently found my account had been accessed. No spyware or keyloggers on my system, I couldn't work out what was going on, until I read about a vulnerability in phpbb run forums that will allow you to access a user's password hash and crack it at your lesiure. I'd used the same password here as I had in runescape. Thankfully my bank pin prevented everthing except the rune off my back from being stolen.

yes, but does multiple cannons work? do you get 2 back or 1? and can you set up 2 cannons and make them work? i tried this with the mole but no1 was selling a cannon at that time so i was like screw it 1 cannon works plenty enoug now

Never, ever use the same password on any forum as you use on http://www.runescape.com, especially if you have your username the same as your RS character.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I have a different password not only for rs and tip.it, but for every game and forum and user account and especially administrator account on every computer I have access to.

There used to be that one web in the dungeon northeast of ardy, where you could lock yourself in and only way to get out was to pm a friend. Some hackers would not know to pm somebody from friendlist, and either way it wastes some time for them. That was a good defence but now I think they added a knife inside the web so that is ruined.

If your not a bank-pin kinda guy, than you can still have a 600k down deposit. All you have to do is buy a cannon, set it up, and forget about it.

 

 

 

When you get hacked, talk to the guy, get it back, and sell it for 600k.

600k just went down the drain...my cannon decay...i thought it can handle 400 shtos but when i used 264 it decayed!!!!! wtf!!!

Set up a random F2p charector with a random name and a PW you would never use on a forum or anywhere ((AND write these down!!))

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Use this charector as your personal Savings account.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

to get the items to the Mule account you can do the following..

(1) Drop trade them to your mule (This is against rule number?)

 

 

 

(2) Have good friend Xfer items from your account to this. Be careful of new software detection ((See other posts on how to get around))

 

 

 

(3) Go to some obscure place with the items. Make sure your mule is there. Then die on your main. Have the mule pick them up. ((Again make sure no1 is around for this!!))

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

But just get a bank pin.

 

 

 

When you can, bank before you log. This way you put all items back in bank and they are safe.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

When I goto barrows with full guthan and ahrim. I make the long walk each time I log. Hate to wake up and be out 20m plus.

Good idea. I've never been hacked before though. I also use all the security features RS provides. But no one is truly "hacked". It's just a word that the RS community uses and I guess it's ok but definiatly is not the best word to describe what actually happens.

 

 

 

Being hacked would mean someone "broke" into Jagex servers and manipulated the data there. Far as I know thats impossible. Also would mean another user "broke" into your computer and manipulated it to get your password. Could happen, but very rare. Also using brute force password generators at the RS login screen. Impossible as well because of how Jagex has made their login screen. Well maybe not impossible but 1000 times slower and not worth the effort.

 

 

 

The word though makes feel better about being "hacked". It has the sound as if they did nothing at all wrong. Truth is, its being lazy and careless that gets you "hacked". Not setting password recovery questions and bank pins. Trusting others with your password. Going to shady websites. I never ever feel sorry for anyone complaining about this imaginary "hacking" process that for no reason whatsoever just happens to someone.

 

 

 

Be smart and use common sense. Don't trust people with your pass. Period.

At least you had something intelligent to post (and it's true, you don't just get 'hacked'.. It's 100% because of your own carelessness).
