Well recently after doing barrows with reg cookn gauntlets i got around like 5k chaos. I changed my gloves to chaos gauntlets so i would hit harder at castle wars. Well i started doing barrows again and am using chaos gauntlets. It is so much easier to kill the melee brothers i used to hit like 7s and 10s now i hit 15 and 17 like every hit. well its usefull only for people using chaos spells, most people use slayer dart but its good advice regardless

yep, chaos gaunts make bolt spells hit harder. Its especially good for metal dragons; bolt spells seem to work the best there.

when your 90 magic skulled, magic darts the way to go, it for some reason hits 19's at 90 +

I'm not so sure about that 10+first number of mage, cuz im 68 mage and i hit 17's on brothers with slayer dart

so its always consistent damage???

mm i'm 66 mage and can hit 17's. and no, its not constant lol, thats the max hit. never tried with chaos..

also may wanna point out your set up. me, i take zammy robes, cheap and...easy to get. mystic top saves over whip and i dont really like that idea since i carry a crystal bow and full rune to.

Well alot of people noticed that mac hit with magic dart went up to 19. I am pretty sure it was a hidden update that happened around 2 weeks ago. Also the chaos spells hit harder with chaos guants, so u hit like 15 max

I've been hitting 19 for ages now... i wasnt sure why, it even said on tip it, something about hitting 18 max. perhaps something to do with your slayer and mage lv?

Chaos Gauntlets are great. I wouldn't think twice about fire bolting without them.

The max hit with slayer dart is 20. When using a mage pot or wizard mind bomb to 102/103 magic ;).
