Up and up they go... I don't think Jagex is going to do anything about the rares. They're here to stay until they become extinct.

yes, after 100 years until all RS players from today dies... (assuming that they can live for a bit over than 100 years, something that I don't think is possible :P)

Damit im a lil mad lol, when they first started going up I imedietly sold my 2 masks, so I could get a good price before they dropped. They just went up even higher when I sold them. :lol:

dang those people that claimed to be "1337 merchants" and stated that mask prices are going to drop. You probably have fallen for their "tricks" :P

Great, I already had to kiss my chance of owning a green phat good bye now I have to do the same with a green mask. What jagex should do is make a store where you can buy all of the rares from the pre non tradeable era. They would be very cheap and untradeable once you buy them. That would solve the rare problem.

I just reckon the idea of a rare is to show how long one has been playing. And as a reward for being loyal. Not of one who plays the most or is the best at manipulating prices to earn money.

That'd solve nothing. It'd just annoy people who'd just spent 150m+ on a party hat.

I say if you don't lik it don't buy one, and if you want a rare, start making money. I started playing RS arounf 3 M/O ago and I have 2 red h'weens, and no I don't play too much, I play less than most people. Just look for ways to make money. :|

Party hats look real ugly compared to masks. I didn't get used to halloween masks when they switched RSC to RS2, but now they seem more cooler :D

If Jagex did anything to change the phat, mask, rares market there would be too many angry players who worked months on getting one. Stop complaining there is really nothing you can do but keep playing.

I have been back on this forum 2 days and im so sick and tired of people complaining about the rare problem. You werent around then and yes that sucks but Jagex soon realized their holiday item mistakes and corrected those THATS ALL THEY ARE GOING TO DO. Why would they make players who earned them suffer?

I thought the halloween mask was one of the best looking items before RS2... afterwards, I think they're brutally ugly. I think party hats are the best looking item in the game, aside from possibly last years Christmas drop.

I personaly don't like the look of party hats at all. Although, I was mining the other day, and walking to the guild I noticed a shiny yellow round object on the floor and I had a heart attack when I second clicked it and noticed that there were two of them. My eyes focused and I realized that they were not yellow party hats at all as I thought but were merely gold rings. :shock:
