Ok, so it was my first time doing a Barrows trip, about an hour ago. So I kill everyone. :o ..Except Dharok...he was the tunnel...my first trip, and I get stuck with Dharok :( :( So I'm at the chest :D :o :lol: And guess who comes up :roll: Dharok, yes, that's right. So I just mage him, I used up all of my prayer pots, and I had almost my full inventory full of lobsters. So I start to attack him, he doesn't hit anything on me...Keeps hitting 0's. Then I was running, and eating, going for a safespot. Then out of nowhere, BOOM!!!! :wall: Hits a whopping 36 on me :cry: Does anyone know what I should bring, look at my sig to see the stats. I brung 500 fires, 228 deaths, air staff, unholy book, zamorok cape, zamorok robes, 5 prayer pots (3), spade, and the rest lobsters. :x >=(

If you meet him in the tunnels, mage him with magic dart and use prayer to be sure.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

In the tombs always use prayer on him.

Theres a few of barrows guides on here, look around. I suggest you get 55 slayer for magic dart, it is most profitable. And when your fighting dharok or any pinky, make sure your hits are high, just incase. Good luck at barrows!

hes not that hard.. just make sure u always have 80+ hp if ur out of prayer

Here's a couple useful tips:

 

 

 

1) Make (4) does potions instead of (3)

 

 

 

2) Take another look at the barrows guide it'll help

I'm not much higher than you and here's what I bring and I do alright.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

5 prayer pots (4) (only use 3 usually but bring extra just in case)

 

 

 

Deaths or Bloods

 

 

 

Spade

 

 

 

Ectovial (for quick escape, usually when I get puzzle wrong more than once)

 

 

 

Blue dhide chaps

 

 

 

Blue dhide body

 

 

 

Magic short bow.

 

 

 

Rest of the inventory with lobsters for the tunnel.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Equiped

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Full mystic

 

 

 

Glory

 

 

 

Rune arrows

 

 

 

Air battlestaff (for wind blast/wave) and meleeing in tunnel for the lower lvled ones.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I pray for the most part with everyone, and mage them all except the mage, who I range.

u have low prayer, so i would recomend bring 6 p pots (4). i have lvl 50 pray and i bring 16 doses (4 pots (4)), usualy use only 7-8 doses, but extra 2 pots if smth goes wrong or i get dharok in tunels.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

other than that, get slayer to 55, helps a lot, and your runs is much cheaper. even without any items i break even on runes and chaos pays for my pray pots, well i fish my own lobs.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

get higher prayer and slayer 55, then u golden to run barrows for long time

personally i don't use prayer pots at barrows... but thats another matter. anyway, if you get him in the tunnels, just safespot him, their a few places where you can just stand back and kill him.

Highest I have seen him do is a 56

whenever i get dharok in tunnels, i mage him without prayer using the safespot in the top right corner of the tunnels. Get Dharok on one side of the pile of rocks and run to the other side, then mage safely :D

I actually died several times already when I didn't have my ectophial with me but just tele runes (outside the barrows in a previous runescape life as uber noob of noobs). I click...nothing happens. I panic...I click...nothing happens...I wonder what is going on...I try to click again...and then I am in lumbridge with a lighter load.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

When I should have double clicked. Ectophial works always...even with a one-click. I have it on me almost always. After my whip it's my favourite runescape item.

I feel kind of stupid, being level 84, and not know what the ectophial is... Where do you get one? Maybe that would help me... Do barrows with my friend who got 2 warspears in 2 day!!...
