Previously coal was like 100 to 180gp only

 

 

 

Now is it like more like 150 to 200gp each.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

What is the cause of the price increase ?

i've paid 200 for a long time...

yeah...for me when i go to world 1 falador i always see people buying coals for 180each...before i only see people buy coals for 150each at the highest

errr... coal ahs been for 200 gp for like 2 months..

Smither more desperate to buy coal ?

 

 

 

Increase in number of smithers fighting for coal ?

 

 

 

More p2p willing to pay more for coal ?

 

 

 

More high lvl smithing paying 200gp so spoiling the market ?

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

What could be the real reason ?

Prices on coal didn't change from 100 - 180 to 150-200 each.. Sigh, this is now the 101th :P time I have to explain that coal prices haven't changed much over the past 3 years on these boards.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

It's just your own perspective. When you started playing you were selling coal 100gp or so each yourself and didn't see better offers, plus you were only selling like 100 each time, which was also the main reason why noone wanted to buy for more. Now you see people buying 1000's at a time (or want to buy 1000's at a time yourself). However, 1000's of coal has been going for 200gp each for years already and nothing has changed in that.

they were 100 each in RSC when the noting system wasn't like the one today. But if you noted them in RSC (much harder than now), some people would buy them for 200 ea

Kinda close, IT ussually went that unoted coal would be 100 ea, Coal certs would be 1k ea--(cert equals 5 coal)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

this was so you could trade large ammounts could be traded at 1 time.

RS Economy, most things are getting a small bit more expensive, and food( I think) is getting a bit cheaper.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

AND, cheap people like me, who only sell coal for 200 gp.

I wonder if adding a couple mroe rocks of coal would bring the price down... or perhaps they are making the other kinds of armor harder to make...

some years ago coal certs cost 1k each, thats 200 gp per coal ore......... I have to ask, how often do you lift the rock you live under ? :shock:

if i remember correctly coal price is still same as RSC or formaly known as Runescape (or runescape 1 whatever). When i first started playing the certs were 1k each meaning each coals were 200. just like fook said

I was hoping this was a topic on the price actually increasing, because I am mining 60k coal....though I will most likely smith it all. Yes, coal has been priced at 200gp each for a long time...Old news... :(
