Jackalope14's First Car! Yay

Featured Replies

Today I finally got my first car. A Mazda 626. It has about 100,000 miles on itand we got it from my Aunt for about $3000. My Aunt kept the car in very good shape so the amount of miles doesnt really reflect what shape it is in.

I cant drive by myself yet but I will be able to in about a month. Im pretty exited though.

It took me a while to learn how to drive the manual but I think I have the hang of it now. Although I still sometimes stall the car..

We have Honda Accord's here too, Mazda 626's are very different from them. I'm sure they aren't the same cars where you are.

The car in the picture is exactly the same as a 98 (maybe) Honda Accord, Phil (here at least)

Let me get a picture of it.

You will regret that eventually, it's just not that hard :o I was driving manual without any worries at all within a month of having my licence.

i agree. its really easy. i've been driving manuals since i was about 12 and still have only ever driven 2 autos.

i cant wait to get my license

you should've gotten a civic man

anyway..

here are some tips

lower your car so you can't park over sidewalks

Put a spoiler

add some rims....chrome lights & wheels

Put your seat back all the way down to the seat behind you

when you drive, only keep on hand on the wheel, one on the shift, and lean back

Make sure you don't turn up the volume so loud that the plastic on your car vibrates

dont drive at 2 AM blasting reggaeton :o

put a fire extinquisher on the windshield

put brake rotor calipers

window tint 100%

exhaust..maybe 4 inches in diameter?

add a body kit

  :o :o

And here's my tip:

Don't be a ricer - like above.

You can modify the car all you want to make it sound like an Enzo, but after all the effort and, more importantly, money gone into it, there's no escaping the fact it will be a Mazda 626, with a Mazda 626 performance.
