To be honest, when you said this I was rather insulted, I am not exactly a wealthy person and to me ÃÆââ¬Å¡Ãâã5.00 seems rather a lot when it is compared to my monthly income. In comparison to your income it may seem like nothing. As I enjoy playing this game, I am rather dissapointed that the price makes it almost impossible for me to stay a member and if you find the fact that ÃÆââ¬Å¡Ãâã5.00 to me is quite expensive 'rather sad' then please do not voice your insulting opinions on a topic that I created out of interest.

DEFINITLY no to a one month trial... If they released that members would be flooded with (sorry) noobs running around.. one of the reasons some people go p2p, to get away from them.

Wow, I guessed right for a change :P

what i would do if i were you (being so el cheapo that u can't afford 5 bucks a month) is switch back and for for a while like go f2p to train mining or wc and then go back to p2p. but d00d! $5 is like nothing

its really expencive over here in new zealand its $9 a month for credit cards $11.50 for phoning in and $7.50 per month for internet payments. its way to expencive

ok what the hell, u broke jagex rule (no players under 13). if u hardly get 5 a month u must be like 5 years old. anyways there is always ur moms purse*cough*cough*

If you rent games from a Video Rental store, you know that games are around 5$-7$ a rental. this rental is expected to be returned in 5-7 days. (some places are okay with late returns, like blockbuster, though)

 

 

 

if you rent that game for the 1 week, you could have spent possibly less money on a rental for a month(rs), instead of a rental for a week.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

So in theory, you can spend less money for "renting" RS, then you can a normal game. Now, true, you could buy guild wars, and never pay the money for a monthly fee, but some people dont have the hardware for guidl wars (ex: me). So people like me are stuck with a few choices. "Rent" a game for $5 a month, play a game on a console for $50 for less than 10 hours of game play, rent a game for 5$-7$ a week, or buy a game like guild wars.

 

 

 

the most logical seems to be runescape in my eyes. although, if i did have a better graphics card I would not be playing rs right now. i probebly wouldnt be writing this post. i would be on guild wars.

Yes it may add up quite a bit over a year, but anything else adds up much more over the same time. Gas for the car, the daily food you eat..

In any case, you can make $5 in even less than an hour of work, even just 1 chore would be enough for an entire month of P2P.

Jey, a 2 hour movie is 13 bucks, glad Runescape is 17 cents a day? And you can possibly play for 24 hours... But you'd be pretty geeky though. Pretty sweet deal IMO

the only game i payed alot for was vice city and wa sthe only game i also still play liek every week all other game stha ti bought for 30 40 50 euros are already done finished while runescape keeps moving on and givving more sutff to do :D

Why is it expensive?

 

For me, membership price is $9.80 and i never think it is expensive at all.

 

$9.80 = 2days of my school pocket money

I'd like to point out the fact that training in runescape p2p is a lot faster than in f2p. If you pay the 5$/month for p2p and gain exp lets say at a rate of 125% speed (20k/hour in f2p and 25k/hour in p2p). This would give you "an extra hour" after playing 4 hours in p2p experience wise. The 1 extra hour could be used to go to workd and gain the 5$ extra. I'm not saying that you should be working all the time but this is another fact that everyone should notice.

 

 

 

Runescape p2p would be saving your time (and money even though it costs 5$) and giving you more features at the same time. Think about it and my view might convince you :wink:
