May 1, 200620 yr DOES CONTAIN A SMALL SPOILER Hey look the poster is in german Ok so I saw 'The matrix' and 'The Matrix Reloaded' and decided to wack in 'The Matrix Revolutions' with aprehension due to opinions ive heard and the 6.3 rating on IMDB (which I noticed afterwards). The vast majority of my friends say they didnt like it or it was alright. Well ive just finished watching it and thought it was pretty dam impressive. Granted, I didnt REALLY understanding the ending too the full extent. eg. him turning into light along with agent smith, maybe im just being dumb. I really enjoyed the battle between the machines and those crazy thingies on legs with machine guns 8) I dont think it deserves a rating of 6.3 personally. The Matrix was the best in the trilogy and comparing it too revolutions a lower score would be deserved but 6.3 by the voters of imdb is slighty harsh IMO. Anyways, what are your opinions of the film and do you think it deserves all the horse manure thrown at it? And no lol why do you always want to get stuff from John Lewis. Its over ̣̉300 more then than what i paid. John Lewis is a great, great shop.
May 1, 200620 yr i thought the visuals in it were great. the storyline was finally finished, and it was pretty good. and it was action packed, so it was never boring. i enjoyed it. wouldnt give it a "great" movie rating, because there really wasnt anything new in it. but its one of the movies (like the whole series) that i can watch multiple times and still enjoy it.
May 2, 200620 yr Neither of the two are as good as The Matrix... to tell you the truth, I didn't really enjoy. But boy, I sure did love The Matrix! :P Ghost: I am prejudice towards ignorance, so that would explain why I appear to be so.
May 2, 200620 yr Graphically It was pretty cool. I saw it in theaters a long time ago and I remember getting pretty bored with all the cgi, it was just to much. I did like the wrapping up of the story. Normally I hate how series end but this one was decent.
May 2, 200620 yr I think this movie will always be not that great for me, because I just can't figure out the ending and it makes me angry. But it was exciting, I should of just turned off all the dialog or muted it, would have been easier. Goals: 80/80 Range, 75/90 Strength, 77/85 Attack, 64/76 Fishing and crafting 31k natures (o.O)
May 2, 200620 yr The votes on IMDB arean't harsh at all. They're honest. Most of them aren't your typical "average joe" and they know how to rate a movie across everything it entails. Anyhow, I'm more "so-so" towards it. Too much overkill / reliance on CGI for my liking but given the concept of the movie, I'm willing to let it slide (much like with other Sci-Fi films). It's ok, but nothing overly great. The Matrix beats it hands down. Reloaded is about the same as it, IMO.
May 2, 200620 yr Most people at IMDb dont realy know how to rate, and most of them deff. dont know what they are talking about. not that I realy do, but they certainly dont, with some exceptions. Dont look at IMDB ratings as if they are TRUE. I thought it was okay, deff. not great, just okay. Signature by Maurice SendakWhen the stars make you drool just like a pasta fazool, that's amore!
May 2, 200620 yr So-so, first one the best though. By far. :) 2nd was the worst IMO. http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=525348 - My Pking Gallery I'M BACK FOR SUMMER BABY
May 2, 200620 yr Couldn't get any worse from the 2nd one, to be honest. This is how much you all raised for charity. Thank you.
May 2, 200620 yr Got too weird imo, specially the part where Neo's discussing stuff in the subway terminal. The first one was the best by far, works out great by itself, and the only one of the trilogy I'd watch more than once. Pixel sigs by me.Pixel Art
May 6, 200620 yr I wish "The Matrix" never became a trilogy. I absolutely love the first one. The second one was fluff & filler. While the third was better than Reloaded, I don't think it could have stood alone as a film like "The Matrix" did. And not just because it was the third in a series, but also because, aside from the metaphors/symbolism and special effects, it wasn't comprised of much else.
May 7, 200620 yr I didnt get the thing how neo made the light in agent smith and killed him.... -------------------------------------------------------------------
May 7, 200620 yr The Matrix was the best of all three, and probabily one of the best movies of all time. Reloaded and Revolutions lacked any enjoyable intelectual content like The Matrix. The Matrix had your mind reeling as you watched the kick [wagon] action. The other two were just a bunch of action scenes (granted were kick [wagon]) but really lacked much enjoyable plot. The reason that IMDb gave it 6.3 (and most ratings gave similar ratings) was due to the fact that it did not meet its expectation of the ending of the trilogy. If one is to disregard that element of it, Revolutions deserves a 7, and Reloaded needs to be handed the 6.3 I'd say boost The Matrix from the 8.5 to a 9.5 as well.
May 7, 200620 yr It was an okay film, but just nowhere near as good as the Matrix, which was the bench against which it was judged. "Da mihi castitatem et continentam, sed noli modo"
