  1. Yeah, I agree. Daily Show and Colbert Report FTW, woo. :XD:
  2. I love the Law and Order opening parody. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jmvrH9TzCcU Yeah. :XD:
  3. Oh yeah, I saw some clips of it. It seemed to more set on poking fun rather than parodying though.
  4. I'll help you, add Dissonanta. thast exactly how i started playing rs....i saw guys on the omputer there playign it saw what the name was wnet hom and got addictied... Lol, is that some sort of universal phenomenon? Because it's true; the only other time I've seen someone playing RS was at my local library. :P
  5. Oy, one level to go then. Thanks!
  6. At what cooking level does one stop burning Monkfish? Do cooking gauntlets make a difference? Thanks.
  7. Haha, I like David Bowie and Journey. My guilty pleasure = "What Is Love" by Haddaway. Oh, and "Connected" by Stereo MCs, which I actually think is a good song, but it happens to annoy many, many people.
  8. KGB - Internasjonalen Sonata Arctica. :)
  9. Super Mario Brothers. (Actually, I haven't seen it in a while, I just remember hating it) And yeah, Be Cool, definitely. HAHA, my friend made me watch that. I agree, it was terrible! :P
  10. I wish "The Matrix" never became a trilogy. I absolutely love the first one. The second one was fluff & filler. While the third was better than Reloaded, I don't think it could have stood alone as a film like "The Matrix" did. And not just because it was the third in a series, but also because, aside from the metaphors/symbolism and special effects, it wasn't comprised of much else.
  11. After avoiding it for ages, I'm finally training slayer. :$
  12. Yeah, that's what I was thinking too. I'll sign. :D RSN: Dissonanta
  13. I was abyss crafting, and as I left Edgeville bank, I saw a swarm attacking a guy who was alching. His HP bar was still full, so I didn't pay attention. Finished my run, tele'd back to Edge, left the bank, and there was a pile of random things where the alching guy had been standing along with a crowd of people. So, I asked if the alching guy had keeled over. Someone said "Yes," followed by, "I got his whip!"
  14. True, I switched to a free world yesterday to buy something, and the moment I logged in, some lvl 49 dude was following me, asking to be my boyfriend. What really bothers me is how these people distort and devalue the idea of a relationship. I mean, can you imagine walking down the street, being trailed by a stranger who keeps repeating "wanna b my gf plz?" It just doesn't work that way.
  15. That's what I was thinking. I can't actually see the vid, because my media player is lame, but I was like "Whoa, DT."
  16. I'm going to go out on a limb here and call you the noob. There's more to being goth than just having a female vocalist. The use of synth and the composition of their guitar riffs bears all the hallmarks of (European) power metal. I'm going to have to agree with Nec--Nightwish is without a doubt power metal. The synths often give them a symphonic sound with actually can be similar to gothic metal, but Nightwish's energy-driven guitar riffs are blatantly power metal.
  17. Haha, no worries, at least I have someone on my side. XD
  18. The concept is simple, but is it true? Chances are, you won't find out in this lifetime--so, why be excessively adamant and condescending when arguing your views? :P Did you pour liquid into the cup? Then it's half full! Did you drink from the cup? Then it's half empty! Just kidding, I know what you mean. But the half-full/empty thing always kills me. XD To the optimist, its half full To the pessimist, its half empty To the engineer, the glass is twice to large. Rofl, that's awesome.
  19. Red means strongly recommended! I gave you a song or two from each band to check out. Power: The main problem I have with Concerto Moon is their vocalist, actually. - Kamelot, "Centre of the Universe" - Rhapsody, "Autumn Twlight" - Adagio, "In Nomine" Progressive: I totally second the Ayreon suggestion. - Symphony X, "Smoke and Mirrors," "Awakenings" - Pain of Salvation, I love these guys. Every album of theirs is a plot driven concept album (think DT's SFAM). Check out "Martius/Nauticus II," "!(Foreward)," "The Perfect Element," "Rope Ends" - Angra, "Fireworks," "Wings of Reality" Gothic: Oh, totally forgot about Lacrimosa until Necro mentioned them. He probably knows more about them than I do, but check out "Malina." Death: Yeah, I'm not really into Death either (the vocals usually make me laugh). BUT you can try: - Opeth, "The Drapery Falls" Symphonic: - Therion, "Emerald Crown," "Vanaheim," beware, though, their sopranos go really high sometimes, lol. Folk: - Moonsorrow, they've got a Folk/Death metal thing going. For a more proggy song by them, try "Raunioilla." - Ensiferum, they've got a Speed/Folk/Death metal (rofl @ metal subgenres) thing going. Try "Slayer of Light," "Hero in a Dream" - Finntroll, so quirky, "Trollhammaren" Good call. Check out "Concerto" by Cacophony. Crazy guitar skills.
  20. Lol! My sense of humor would have to be waaay more twisted to find that fortune funny.
  21. Yeah, freshmen year can be a pain. I know I spent a good part of the first half feeling out of place. Is this some form of high school logic that I'm not familiar with? Is that like "Let's not associate with the kid who wants to break the caste"? Anyway, high school hierarchy is a joke. If you like a "cool girl," go for it. If your friends think you're a nerd and think you should stick to "nerd girls," tell them they're superficial and promptly ditch them. :P Much to your dismay, I think confrontation is the best solution here. You've got a bunch of friends who have randomly started avoiding you--what's the deal? Just ask them something along the lines of "Hey, you've been acting differently around me lately, is something up?" And if they blow it off, then forget them. Why surround yourself with those who still rely on "middle school tactics"? At least wait until they get a little wiser (ie. "tolerable" lol). Rofl, my hero.
