The (?) is to show that I have heard it somewhere, but cannot verify. So, if anyone else has something to add, I'll edit this. Also, if anyone can verify those I am unsure of, I'd appreciate it greatly.

would using the runehq item list not make this easy to do?

runehq forum bugs the hell outta me. i try sticking with tip.it for all my rs needs.

ahrims staff does not as far as i know, all melee barrows plates weapons and legs protect over whip, so does fury ( i believe). D legs do as well i think.

this is faster than checking rhq for each one so its pretty good...also add d battle to the list :D

just have whip and 2 more items on u and die. they will apear in your invent when u reappear in order of most expencive to least, so if whip isnt in the first spot the item that is protects over it. omg i bet that made no sense

A very simple method to do this is bring about 100k and the item to a genrel store. Click Value and write the number displayed down, if you press sell then buy it back ASAP that is what the 100k is for. If the value is over 60k then becarful in wildy with it.

Dragon longsword and Scimitar no longer protect over whip.

Pretty sure ancient staff doesn't protect over either, if you drop two items, the one on top is the one you'd keep, and whip is on top if you drop them both :P

I think Dragon and Dark/Barrow/Shadow gloves are worth more than the whip.

Is there some master list of this stuff? I remember dying in full guthans in barrows and I kept helm, pl8, and skirt over the darn spear..

You can do three things to find values.

 

 

 

 

 

Alch the item

 

Value them at store

 

Drop them, and see what is on top (Top is always highest value, so if someone dies with a phat, remember to be clicking the bottom :P)

 

 

 

Whatever is the highest you keep, and in that instance, guthan is the lowest.

Make it alphabeticle order before the list gets too big :wink:

Dragon BattleAxe saves over all but crystal and some barrows i believe.

they go by shop prices so anything that is more than whip in gen store will protect over it.

all the new gloves dont pray over whip
