APERSON
Even Beatles are underrated if you think about it. Most people won't go much further than Yesterday and Hey Jude. They just won't find out their real good stuff and will say they are crappy. I wouldn't say the Beatles are underated at all. Most everyone knows the beatles and most everyone likes them. An underated band that I know of is The Mike Gunn. Why should we buy postage stamps when we can make our own?aperson being

Jethro Tull is way underrated...i've recently been listening to alot of their stuff Cross-Eyed Mary fo' da win! Hahaha i really like the song called Wind-Up, and some excerpts from Thick As A Brick (orgiginals are just too long -_-), also Locomotive Breath and Aqualung :P "El que no arriesga no gana"

Maybe not everyone knows the Beatles less famous work, but they are never underrated. Oh yeah, hadn't noticed that, most of the songs i listen to of them are from Aqualung, my dad has it on vinyl :P; I do also like Teacher, and another one called Skating Away. Some other bands that are underrated: The Allman Brothers Band, Sammy Hagar (not really a band, but he's pretty good), Head East and April Wine "El que no arriesga no gana"

Tokytoky3333
Rammenstien... Amazing band but almost nobody in my year has heard of them. Literally 6 or 7 people... Their songs sound very similar to me, from what I've heard. On their newest album, Rosenrot, all the song are different. Different but awesome :) yeah mariachi music is REALLY different......but cool too! :D Off topic, but I love the song Rammenstein were playing at the beginning of Triple X (xXx), it was sooo good, and they are all pyromaniacs!! Panix
Rammenstien... Amazing band but almost nobody in my year has heard of them. Literally 6 or 7 people... I would say them being overrated, at least here in Finland :P Their music is ok, but not that great that they'd actually deserve all the fame here. Anyways I bet you're from USA and they haven't done their breakthrough there yet or something.England... Du Hast was their breakthrough for the USA I guess you could say. They toured the US with KoRn and Limp Bizkit in '98 on the first Family Values tour. Aborted Dimmu Borgir's re-recorded Stormblast. (I'm picky about black metal I listen to and I love this) Hate Eternal Illdisposed Reborn In Flames And the guy who said Killswitch Engage obviously hasn't seem any of the extensive touring they've been doing for a while now. :? Cameron1025
ROFL!!! @ Milli Vanill Anyways, Porcupine Tree is an amazing band, but sadly they're very underrated/unknown. And I believe Dream Theater and DragonForce have both been mentioned already. Tell me, what have you learned from the word's that can't be spoken? ~ The Rain, the Reason, the Romance, the Victim, the Truth, and the Vision . . . ~
Anesthesia
Porcupine Tree are indeed good. The two most underrated bands/artists I can think of are Gentle Giant and Nick Drake. Some people are changed by being a moderator. I wouldn't be.
