Ok there ahs to be a better way to end this than to do the same thing as with ess! im a p2p 99 wcer and I highly disagree.

I think this a chance for all you newbie merchants (like me) to make a decent profit. We can bet on that there will be changes in yew logs soon. What do we do? Stock up! Get thousands and thousands of logs, and either 1) make a profit or 2) lose money or break even.

 

 

 

Though I would rather see macroers being banned. Maybe a mod could world hop and see if they respond (not the "go away im buzy" or usual macro response). If not, they get teh ban0rz!

No. There are many honest yewcutters, and it's my main monkeymaking skill. Not many f2p's buy yews.

My idea is simple:

 

Special Axe!

 

It's a special axe to cut Yews with, or Magic Trees.

 

You can only cut with it when wielded, and it requires ?100? Combat (I'm 86 ftm).

 

 

 

This way, they have to train till 100 for macro'ing => impoosible for them (but not for mains).

 

 

 

Same can be done with pickaxe and ess...

bronze = regular trees, steel = up to oak, blk = up to teak, myth = up to hollow, addy = up to mahogany, rune up to mage (not dragon axe for mages... becuz it has the same wcing lvl to use and they are still 2mil cash...)

My idea is that certain resources prone to autoing have some *nasty* randoms them that only happen if you are under 500 total. They wouldn't happen to start with but the more and more of these favourable resources are extracted the more and more frequent they become.

 

 

 

However there is another way to make them go away - a higher leveled player (1000 skill total?) can "sponsor" a person to make them safe from these randoms. If someone sponsors a lot of people that then get banned for autoing, they can't sponsor any more.

Jagex closed down free on rsc because of the massive cheaters, they might do this on rs(2) to.

 

Or else they will make f2p to a arena just to be able to get items for f2p skills just to train for members.

I think Jagex should sneak in tiny updates that screw up the autoers every 3 days or so. Such as, putting an obstacle in the way of the yews to the bank, moving the yews 3 tiles away, adding level 2 aggressive cockroaches etc.
