Well, can't recall his name, but someone posted that he was going for a beer @ postie pete's bar. Now I found this a great idea, to relax with people at a certain place, preferably a bar or something. People could alch in here, or just do nothing for the change :)

 

 

 

It maybe an idea to set a meeting place for all us tip.it ers. My personal idea would be meeting at a bar somewhere in the middle of nowhere, but a place which requires no quests or skills to come. Could also be the spot to get together @ an event or any type of trip.

 

 

 

Opinions about this idea and suggestions about the place would be great.

 

(preferable a place which is seen as 'fun' in real life aswell, like a bar)

My suggestion is world 9's game room: plenty to do there, AND there's a bar ;)

Games room sounds great! What is more fun to drink a beer while playing a minigame with some fellow tip.it ers. This COULD bring the games room to its full glory :D

I have to agree. The game room is fun (especially draughts :D ph34r my 1700). Also a nice place to relax, grab a drink, and not only that, but theres very easy access with the tele :) .

 

 

 

If not the Games Room then Castle Wars would be great :D .

The reason why there is a homeworld is just to have a world where you can meet other people from the forums. You don't have to go any specific place to meet up with another Tip.iter you simply do what you need to do and when you see someone else going "HYT!" you respond back.

 

 

 

Your idea is nice in making a formal area to meet with other people but the entire world is that area. Also TET events are basically the same thing. Don't they happen just about once a week? I'm just going to do what I do on world 9 and if someone replies to one of my HYT's I'll be happy, if not, I can keep on doing what I'm doing.

Think about it: if this idea becomes big, and the games room gets used a ton, maybe jagex will add chess :o

Or Stratego. Dang, I really want Stratego in that games room. Best game ever. I think the problem with Chess and Stratego though is to many rules. You look at the 4 games they currently have in there, they are very simple. Chess has many different rules that you have to learn, and I don't think it would be enjoyed by all the people who really have no idea how to play.

 

 

 

Of course, I have no problem with Chess, I just believe that this is Jagex's thinking.

It was a fantastic game....it logged me out though right at the end just as things looked liked they were going to turn for 'teh soldier', but when i got back the game was just about over...:(

The point of this isn't to force people to meet here. It is simply a place to go when you are bored so that you can always find another tip.iter.

 

 

 

Whenever I burthope a task I will stop and chat! Sounds like a great alching spot and even though I know it won't happen in a gajillion years; I want to play RISK there! Undefeated since I learned to play! Fear me!!! RAWR!!! :lol:

Thanks for all of your opinions and support. I must admit games room would be first on my list. Also, like named before, when it is used more often, Jagex might expand it. Also someone named that he sees world 9 as a meeting place, but this would be great if you are not doing anything in specific and just be bored. You could alch in a nice chatting area, or you could play a game or any varity of things you can do in a simply and fun area. Not a bank, as many people are not interested in talking, while they are training stats.
