A few weeks ago i went to barrows, in hopes of getting some good stuff and fund me so i can fix my barrows stuff and buy runes for ancients. i did a few trips a noticed, that guthan healed thru prayer. I though no big thing of it, belived it was an update or something. Today i did a few trips (no barrows items...) and guthan was not healing anymore! I find this very weird, has anyone noticed that too?

he rarely heals thru prayer. make sure u mage him in rune or something. 90% of the time he does even make the healing smoke for me

Guthan always heals through prayer. He heals what he would have hitted on you.

 

 

 

So wear the best melee armour you can and blast him to Kingdom! :D

Actually, i always use mage armour, but he has never healed on me, exept on that one time.... :shock: A few times i get the smoke, but no healing..

its not prayer, its the set spechial effect....

when i used mystic... he heals on me all the time.

 

 

 

later i figured out if i just put some def on, he didn't heal.

He has always healed even I have prayer. Funny thing what you notice if you hit him to 0 hp but he heals with his last hit you get prompted something like "we'l deal this later" when he dies.

Back on topic, I always take him with full rune with mage dart and leftover pray from karil. when it runs out i just take him no prayer. i found he does heal through prayer.

I hate guthan of all of them. Usually I go to him with rune pl8 without prayer unless I feel very unlucky that day. Once I almost killed him and he hit a 24 on me and healed! :twisted: He only healed through my prayer once, that was earlier today.

Actually i'm a little nooblet :oops: i use pray pots, but it still feels weird; he does not heal very often, even thru mage stuff... :?

Guthan has always been able to heal through prayer!! He still can!! The best thing to do is wear rune or better armour so that when he tries his special, chances are he will hit 0 and heal 0, but if you're wearing non-melee defence armour, he WILL hit and heal through prayer, don't worry about having a low magic attack bonus, it barely affects your hits.

the reason you think he has made smoke but not healed is because you probably hit like a 14 on him just as the smoke appeared, this normally happens to me and it looks like his health just says the same even tho u hit 14.

 

 

 

the funniest thing about him is when u kill him just as he heals and it looks like he dies with some health and you get a message at the bottom of chat box saying "we'll finish this later..."

Yes, Guthan will heal through prayer. Heals alot when I mage him. He is annoying to get throught but I get passed it.
