Freeze to Death, or Burn to Death?

Featured Replies

I don't think it would hurt, if you were dead.

But, I'm sure the shattering effect would be awesome!

I reckon it'd be a bit of a damp squib. The bits would be too heavy -- there's not enough momentum in a sledge hammer to cause them to fly all over the place. ... a wrecking ball, on the other hand: that I'd like to see.

Kind of morbid, don't you think??

Freezing. Just cuz of what I read, "To build a fire", by Jack London.

Exactly what I was thinking. Read that story in 7th grade and I remember saying to myself "that would be a nice way to go." He just makes it seem like going to sleep.

Freeze to death. I absolutely love the cold but I hate the heat. Also, I think freezing would be less painful. I mean, when you watch T.V. and you see someone burning to death, they are screaming and flailing and in extreme pain. But when you see documentaries about people stuck on mountains, they are calmly trying to stay warm. I imagine there is pain but not as much.

I can't understand why someone would chooes burning over freezing, that's so painful having your skin blister and such, freezing you'd just pass out I guess.

freezing numbs your body. you wouldnt be able to feel you are dieing. you would just fall asleep and never wake up.

freeze...

it slows ur body down to the point were u are dilusional.

as to were burning is solid pain. and in my idea, its not very fast.

Yep, by freezing you'll slowly fade away, as if you're falling asleep. By burning you suffer incredible pains, why do you think it was used for torchure?

Man, the answer to this question is as obvious as Chuck Norris being the reason why Waldo is hiding.

But, before you go numb it hurts a lot! I mean.... geez. I hate walking into school on a winter morning because it hurts so bad. I sometimes turn to Brett and say. "Hey Brett, I wish I were dead right about now". And he says, "Yeah Brad, I hate the winter."

Anyway, I would think that burning is A LOT quicker. Am I wrong though?

That's such a lie. I can't even talk when it's that cold. It's more like, "Hey Brett, I wish I were dead right about now." And I say, "mmm, brrmmhumppphh..."

I'd like someone to take a sledge hammer and crush me.

Wonder if that would be posible with a bath of liquid nitrogen, what would it be like? I would not exspect much pain, or a long life because your skin would frease in seconds. Would it also have the same affect were you would shatter if droped?

Anyone want to test this?

Didnt think so.

The SS doctors already did.

Freeze. Because I hate hot places, and because freezing I'd die without danifications to my body.

And why you asking this?

Well you could catch frostbite and lose a few limbs, so you would get some danifications.

i'd rather be frozen thoguh, as many have said, i'd go numb and pass out.

Freezing. People in the year 5000 will be building a hovercar motorway and they will uncover me a say 'Pmgzor, it's legendry !'

depends what kind of freeze or burn:

Extreme temps: you either flash freeze or get tossed into the sun or a supergaint start.....

medium : burning. just make sure you don't open your eyes.

low extremes: freezing. it would pop you brain artaries and youd get a stroke if you don't lose your heart first...

Freeze for me, I like it when it's cold, and I hate it when it's hot. Makes me all sweaty and so. :x

Or...would you rather be Ice Burned to death?

Ice Burn, get salt, and ice. Put salt on skin, put ice on salt, let sit, TAH DAh!

What would compel you to say something like that?

since ice actually is just the burning of the skin at sub degree temps, there is no choice. But i would rather be frozen, because the cold would freeze your veins&arteries, making you pass out.
