trapical
I see why they do it, with all the news reports about child molesters they obviously are like "Wow, I wonder if my kid is talking about sex online! Hmm, s/he is on there all the time after all..." Btw, just want to point out the coolest use of a slash ever: S/he = She/he Get it? I actually read it in a NewsWeek :
SAGE
I can't stand it but I have the computer in my room and it is in a position so that you can only see if you have stepped pretty far into my room so I can tell if someone is coming and I just minimize what I don't wish for them to see. Especially MSN chats, it can have absolutely nothing bad or private on it but I will still hide it.
issy2
Yeah, but my brother does that. It makes me feel claustophobic and uncomfortable, but he just gets angry...
Kewl_Sabre
Well, I live in the U.S., so our government basically does that to all of us 24/7. :? But yea, it's incredibly annoyed to have someone walk into the room and start watching what you're doing. I usually just minimize and stare at them, give them my full attention, and wait for them to become embarassed enough to walk away. :P

trapical
WAYY off topic here, but just saying the CIA doesn't watch what we all do. I mean honestly, they don't even have enough resources to watch the Middle east. There are tens of thousands of hours of recorded conversations from suspected terrorists that have not been analyzed yet due to there simply not being enough people to go through everything. The CIA is actually a really small agency, in no way able to monitor 260 million people, LOL.
