I always open up something random and unrelated to what I was diong before. This way they're just like, "hmph playing that game again :roll: "

Off buttion to my monitor is 3 inches away from the mouse so when somone walks in the room thats where my hand strays to. If its something not important/dont want seen then Alt-F4 works with shortcut key for other programs work nicly.

I just have mine in a room off the hall, a living room of sorts. I usually hear people coming down the hallway so can minimize to something else. I don't do anything on my computer that I would be keeping secret, but it's just wierd for someone to come up over my shoulder and read, maybe something like what I'm typing now. It's just wierd.

I have my computer in my room, but still, some people come in, asking me what I'm doing, looming over me, all that stuff. It is very annoying, as I tend to be quite the private person. I just simply explain to them that they are making me nervous by standing over me, just like I wouldn't want someone reading over my shoulder. I then explain that I have nothing to hide, that in fact, they could use the computer when I'm done if they wish, but it makes me feel anxious when they're in my personal space, looming behind me.

I dont like it when people lean over me looking what im doing, but ill always say what im up to/who im talking to if anyone asks. Doesnt bother me too much.

Its immensely annoying when I'm playing a game and someone walks the room that I'm sitting in so I of course hit Alt-Tab and change windows to firefox or something and wait for them to leave and instead they just kinda stand there or talk to me or ask if they can 'quick check an email' which usually takes 15 minutes. Half the time they're like "WhatÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s this" and click on the minimized game which suddenly opens and I'll usually die or something in the 15 seconds it takes for me to get over to them and pause it or minimize it again :x

Yeah that happens to me all the time, they will come up and say, I just need to check a quick e-mail, or something like that. Usually that ends up taking them an hour or so. It don't mind so much if someone comes up and starts watching what I am doing. It only bothers me when they tell me to get off because whatever the crap they are doing is more important then what I am doing.

thats why i like having my own computer, no one else can get on it without me knowing. and if you dont like people looking while you are surfing the web: try Ghostzilla. its pretty cool.

I absolutely hate it. It just makes me feel so uncomfortable. Then again I do it to my brother just to annoy him.

Yes I dislike people watching what I'm doing, when I'm using the family computer. I don't really mind people asking what I'm doing, I just tell them as much as little as the need to know :P

 

If someone watches the screen though from behind, I will just sit there not doing anything, maybe minimise the windows.

 

 

 

It's the same when I'm eating or doing something else.

I got my own comp in my room, but sometime I use the family comp (cuz my comp is old and laggy) They dont watch what I do though, but if a quickly close a program they'll think I'm watching porn or stuff :roll:

Me. Especially when my dad is in the same room as me (laptops), and every time he hears me get IM'd he asks who it is :? . Or when someone just hovers above me and doens't say anything, and I'm just like, "What the HECK do you WANT?!" Gosh I hate that.

When I use the computer, my Mom will come in the room casually. I will look at her and she will say, "Don't worry, I'm not looking at what your doing..." Bull. My dad will flat out see what I'm doing. I just minimize everything and open solitaire or something. The worst thing is when I'm talking about something with a friend and they try to read it...
