To be honest, I don't see how Australia had any more right to win the game than Italy. Golden oppurtunity to get to the last eight, and they froze. Italy had a chance and they took it. Football wins. Yeah, Italy were the better team with or without eleven men. It wasn't a pen, but overall, they deserved to win. Italy was the better team?? what game were you watching.. Luckily for Ukraine, Schevchenko's teammates came through and the Swiss had some horrible PK shots. An exciting end to an otherwise dull game. I think the German squad with Ballack has a good chance to win, as they've been playing some high-powered football lately. The fact that Germany is the host nation may help a bit as well.
