John Cena lost his title to RVD. i want to see ECW

ECW will never be what it was 10 years ago because a multi-million dollar company like the WWE will never allow stunts like mock crucifixions out of fear of lawsuits, especially since the shows will be aired on TV frequently. The only upside I can see to a WWE-backed revival of ECW is that their wrestlers won't be bought away anymore.

 

 

 

It looks more like Ecw will be a part of WWE.

Goldberg was the most horrible wrestler ever. Couldn't sell his or his opponent's moves. In his biography, he admitted he was a bad wrestler. He didn't know how to do a basic snapmare, nor how to spell it. Always the same: punch kick spear jackhammer pin.

 

He did had charisma though, but he was a total [wagon] backstage and therefore spoiled all his chances on become a more than decent wrestler.

Mine is Sabu. I know he isn't in WWE but man is he insane! He is just so good to watch and has had some legendary matches. Im so glad ECW has returned, im a huge fan of it and missed it, all them year when it was gone! But its back now!!!

 

 

 

As for my favourite WWE wrestler it would be... Triple H. He has been around for a long time now, an has always provides top quality action :D

 

 

 

I personally believe the WWE isn't as good as it used to be. I think it has become abit of a joke really. Look at smackdown, The boogyman... :roll: and then there is that Finnley with his Leprachorne (sp). Got stupid now.

I agree about The Boogyman though. His vignettes are entertaining but he's not much to look at inside the ring. There's more to being a good wrestler than being willing to put live worms into your mouth.

You must be more into the entertainment side of wrestling then instead of the actual Wrestling :roll: . ECW is nothing but none stop action from start to finish whereas in WWE they talk for about the first hour of the show then have people like the Boogeyman putting worms in there mouth. But whatever.. thats your opinion

I was watching One Night Stand on PPV, it was like all set up that ECW has to dominate over WWE. Esspeically, when John Cena throwing his shirt to the crowd, the crowd threw it back which is an insult.

Dude, you're taking that way too seriously. It's like a Red Sox player throwing his shirt to a Yankees crowd (Did I get that right? I suck at American sports :P) The whole WWE vs. ECW thing they have going on right now is just a publicity tool.

You must also remember that ECW and WWE were two completely different styles of companies with different types of fans. WWE was more commercial and everybody new about it, but not that many people new about ECW and it had more of a loyal fan base. The same fans would go to every show. These fans had no interest in the WWE or its superstars. They supported ECW for what it was and all the wrestlers in it.

 

 

 

And, now that a big WWE superstar was on an ECW event with the ECW fans, they really don't want them there, and that is why they responded in the way they did.

I think it's a shame they're letting RVD say just his usual 'Rob Van Dam *does the thumb thing*'. He made great promos in the old ECW.

I don't remember much about the WWE (I haven't watched wrestling in years), but my favorite was either Hulk Hogan or Stone Cold Steve Austin.
